Well, i'm not the one calling myself criticalanalysis and coming up with shit...You don't have a clue, at all. Zip, nada, feck all. You can't even wrap your mind around something as simple as position when receiving passes, and how that can be used.

In one way it's funny, given your nick and all, but overall it's just sad.
 
I'm not worried about this in the slightest. Mourinho has form with Joe Cole and Hazard when it comes to tough love for promising flair players.
 
Jose let go Lukaku and De Bruyne, now probably he will let go Martial. Jose's obsession with defensive minded forwards has stagnated many careers, while other coaches helped flourish.

The only issue with Martial for Jose is that he's scored two league goals all season.
 
Quite obvious Jose is trying to find a way to get rid of him, how the feck else does Schweinsteiger find a spot on the bench and he doesn't?
 
If Mourinho doesn't fancy him just sell him and Shaw now, get it over and done with and get whoever he wants in this window so we can bed them in for next season.

Said it yourself. "A few games" - the season has been what, 35 games now? He hasn't done anything to deserve a sure spot in the starting XI, same with every attacker we have except Zlatan and (arguably) maybe Mkhi.

Mkhi hasn't exactly been setting the world alight in the past few weeks has he.
 
He must be ill or have a small injury, I refuse to believe that he wouldn't even be on the bench if not.

Mkhi's issue was conditioning, we've already seen Martial and he's been in very good shape plus he's begun to play well too. Very strange to not even have him on the bench when a 35 year old Carrick is there and sure to start the midweek game.

Martial hasn't been pulling trees this season, I'm a huge fan of the kid but let's admit it. I'm sure the agent thing hasn't helped either, but I'm confident the higher ups at the club know that its just standard posturing by the agent. Jose wanted Martial at Chelsea so it can't be that he doesn't like him. I'm more inclined to believe that he decided to drop him because of his form.

Do you really think it's that easy getting top class players mid season?
 
Are people really surprised?! Check players suffering at the moment,most young ones,TFM cant get games vs Afroman,Darmian,then you have Martial,Rashford also on the bench,Shaw. Zero trust and he doesnt apply same rules when it comes to young vs senior players.

Why do you think he doesnt fancy him? He started him against Liverpool. Probably just has a knock.

Also as another poster pointed out, players of Martial talent are not easy to find. You don't just ship them off and replace them

Rashford shouldn't be a starter, he's getting games and he's been good. Also strange to put Darmian in that bunch, he's hardly a young player.

Nobody is suffering ffs...

I meant that TFM cant get games vs Afroman in midfield or as LB/RB vs Darmian,didnt count him as young player.

Sure TFM should get games but it's hardly such a dramatic situation with young players.
I guess people like juicy stories, like this one about Mou supposedly not fancying Martial.

Look it's far too easy to go personal, so I won't go there.

You say my comments are personal opinions (on a football player) then go on about my username. Check.

You talk about stats and analysis, yet all you've replied, are the same personal opinions from yourself. Check.

I've told you about the different variations and types of movement that we can measure stats or take different observations on. You've completely ignored that and are only concerned with one aspect, only to say I'm the one, who's missed the point. Check.

I made a very simple comment, countless other people in this thread have made yet you seem to bang on about it's not true, without actually saying anything concrete. What is exactly is your thought, on the one off-the-cuff comment, a lot of people make about Martial's movement?

Come on mate, engage in this light discussion a bit maturely. It's bewildering you've gone to insults after a 2-3 post exchange when we're not even talking about anything controversial. :confused:
 
I'm afraid if he is to leave us we will live to regret it dearly. If he goes somewhere else he'll be a world beater.

If he did leave, i fully expect he'd have a very good career at another top club. If he went to the right club then he'd probably end up being regarded as one of the best players in the world.

Hopefully it doesn't come to that.
 
According to MEN, Mourinho's comment after the game was that he was just 'not selected'. Baffling if there was no injury.

I say this too but Mourinho's behaviour and handling is truly worrying. Tbh i can't say i would hold it against Martial if he asked to leave.

I dont think its about fancying him or not,just lack of trust and clearly not only with us,he showed lack of trust in young players in the past(Ivanovic for example). Somehow it looks if those players were older even if they are in the same form,their situation would be different. I mean,looking today Blind,even he didnt do much wrong,or some of Darmian`s displays,surely Shaw or TFM wouldnt be far worse then that.
 
Hopefully there is a valid reason as to why he didn't play today. Martial is a crucial player for us and I cannot fathom why Jose would want to drive him away.
