Gaming Animal Crossing: New Horizons (Switch)

I'll only get enough for 1 trip to sell just incase I need to travel to another island to sell them.

Not much point in trying to complete everything in this game.

I'm just saying this because i'm too lazy to terraform my island

Getting sent to the same shitty nook island is beginning to piss me off. Tried 3 times in a row and got the same crap, no construction going on even

Been making some paths today some of the examples online look amazing

There has been a lot of data mining and research done into the rare islands.

They do just seem to be a very low possibility, while islands like bamboo island are very common. They changed a lot of the way the Nook Islands work because of things like Tarantula farming.

I've been uploading some custom designs today. If anyne fancies a 93-95 United away shirt, the code is MO-269W-8KQK-8F3D. West Germany 1990 home shirt is MO-XFXS-GHM4-JHBK.

I'm struggling massively to get into this at all. Boring as feck going around picking up twigs and crafting the same thing over and over. How long does it take to not be shit?

If you don't like it from the start, you're probably not going to like it at all.

I was just convinced I'd lost my saved data or my Switch was fecked.

I was playing Animal Crossing, and the sound went off and was replaced by a small humming. I turned it off and it wouldn't come back on, so I thought my Switch was done. About 20 seconds later a message comes on the screen saying there's an error and to hold the power button. The Switch does actually come back on that time, but as I clicked Animal Crossing it said some data was missing and it needed to download it.

Luckily after that it came on and there was my game, but that was far scarier than it should have been

I got anxious reading your post. I'd having a fecking meltdown if that happened to me

Any ideas why my campsite isnt being used?

I've had the rather underwhelming in the end main goal happen

Yet it's only been used twice, once where I spoke to the person and invited them to join me, once where there was a dog and I already had a dog resident so ignored them as I want different species. When I go to the usually crap mystery islands there isnt an animal there to invite either

I have 8 residents atm I would just pay and build my last 2 houses but I've done that a couple of times already and that raccoon has gone behind my back and invited people, neither of whom I especially like. I thought youd build the house and then someone would appear on the campsite and you can invite them to live in the newly built house. Not the meddling raccoon do it.

I only managed to invite the first three via mystery islands and then got Beardo via campsite. The rest were suddenly moving in via Tom Nook and they're ok apart from Flurry. I fecking despise Flurry. Her house is weird as shit and always has strange music playing and she's boring. I did have one villager move out and the lot was empty for a few days until I found Lobo on a mystery island and he took the spot.

Not really sure what the formula is tbh.

They seldom come if you don't have an open lot for sale. Makes it far easier to invite the villagers you want via amiibo cards which I'm assuming Nintendo will release soon and make everyone go crazy in collecting them again.

Regarding this. I bought new leaf on 3ds a few years back before a long business trip and figured I'd be all over it for the 3 weeks. Ended up getting bored after 2 days. So, question, is this game simply not for me then? Or will I like this one? It's not that I don't like more relaxing and none actiony games. I loved Viva Pinata back in the day.

There's one at mine today but I don't really see the point because if you ask them to move they say no for a made up reason. I'm guessing because my island is full.

Cranston had a cloud over his head earlier so I assumed he finally considered moving so I talked to him but instead I just got a lousy t-shirt, guess it's back to square one with ignoring him.

Nice successfull island trip tonight :D

Poor sods when they open the drop-off box in the morning

Made a solid 2 million so cheers for that. Had no idea where you were and then you ran on screen chasing a butterfly like a cartoon character
Ha! It was only my first dabble with turnips, and I was cash poor, so only got 200. Made for a profitable morning still!

you lose 20% of the money selling them in the drop box, i used to pile them up outside and then do a couple of trips inside to sell once they are open again

Yeah I didn't I didn't know about the 20% until after I had sold them, next time I'll wait until they're open or wait for Flick to show up!

I've got a meteor shower this evening if anyone wants to visit.
I haven't see any shooting stars or anything like that, it would be cool to check it out if you're around this evening!

Sure! Do you have me on Switch?

It's the easiest opportunity to get the Nook Mile Reward for 200 Wishes, you can probably do it in about an hour if you have that amount of time.

I'm not sure! What's your Switch display name?

Cool that sounds good, I should have an hour to do it no problem.
