Gaming Animal Crossing: New Horizons (Switch)

I think I've helped Wisp about three times, the last time I saw him I couldn't be bothered and just ignored him.

Same thing with that drunkard seagull, I'm not his AA buddy so last time I just left him passed out on the beach and hoped the sea would take him back again.

I'm sure Redd is bugged. It's been weeks since he first showed up and he's only returned once to my island.

Although I am playing a lot less now, really hoping they add some new stuff or I'm tempted to delete my save and start again.

I didn’t have Redd show up on my island for a couple of weeks. He finally showed up today. I think I saw something on Reddit where visitors have a rotating system. So if some have been on a particular week the following week the others will take priority. Redd will arrive it’ll just take time and checking everyday.

Another day without him on my island. Think it's about 3 weeks now but of course the fecking shoe guy is here again.

That can't be right because other NPC characters turn up weekly. Not always on the same day but I can guarantee I'll see Flick, CJ, Kicks etc at some point in the week. Redd has been once in almost a month.
 
It's the repetition im struggling with a bit I created a terra formed area for my flowers to try and get hybrids and turned it into a nice seating area but everything is repetitive

The museum task this week- you do the same thing to get the same "reward."

Gulliver- same task

I'd like them to mix things up and introduce some new missions.

I think next month brings a lot of new bugs and hopefully sharks so that at least will be something to aim for as I'm enjoying collecting the new bugs but not got anything new for a while

you get Kicks, Sahara and Leif once a week on a weekday, then on the other two weekdays you get one of Redd, Flick, CJ, Label or Gulliver

they rotate every week and the ones who didnt visit the week before have priority

its a bit random, and not unusual to not see one of them for weeks on end, ive had Redd 3 times since the update but have not seen Gulliver
 
My turnip prices have been awful this week. Between 60 and 89 bells. Hopefully can still sell for more than I paid for them but time's running out!

I’d suggest going on Acturnips on reddit, people post their prices and allow others to sell. Normally people don’t ask for a fee but you should tip. I think the recommended tip is 10% of what you make.

Damn! I’m on a decreasing price this week too, so I’m not much better. Hopefully someone else here can offer you a better price.
 
I've not gotten a single good turnip price on my island. We're a group of 5 playing across the 3 islands and each time we've bought and sold in the same store.

Who here actively dislikes Isabelle? I know that she's an Animal Crossing legend, is on Smash Bros etc. but this if my first experience with the game and she's just a wet blanket, just another loading screen I have to go through in the game.

I'm not keen on her half the time she has no news so just witters on about stupid stuff like her horoscope or tv shows etc. Wet blanket is a good description

Another turnips loss for me there was a small peak but the previous week I sold at the first increase but then they kept rising slightly so I missed out on the higher cost (only in the 100's still) so thought I'd wait this week but they kept plummeting.
 
I forgot about the turnip lady again, d'oooh. Bet the prices will be high this week as well. Guess being dirt poor does expand the life span of the game some more I suppose.

The flowers on my island are completely out of control. I swear they multiply each day.
 
I'm having another shocker with turnips this week. Already down to 44 bells and the shop is shut tomorrow for remodeling.
 
I love having the terraforming available :drool: My island still feels underwhelming in places when I see others but there are certain parts I'm working on that I like alot.

I got Lionel to stay after making an amiibo of him and using it to invite him to the campsite the day after Renee moved out. Dread seeing Coco arriving!
