I had a short conversation with my mrs about planting stuff in the garden the other day, and it took me a little while to realise I was talking about our actual front garden and she was talking about Animal Crossing. She's fecking obsessed with it at the moment.
I'm not getting into it but it looks good, they seem to have added loads of extra stuff to do. Tom Nook is one gangster motherfecker.

I traded this in. I realize I'm in the minority here but I just fecking hated it. Being able to do feck all for days while you wait for stupid rocks to reappear so you can stand a 1 in 3 shot at getting iron fecking nuggets. Feck you.

I don't bother with hitting rocks anymore, little things like that don't seem worth my time. Even digging up and burying money trees seems too much effort now compared to turnips etc

I've just had thunder and lightning for the first time it looked really cool
I'm also really enjoying having the sharks available, I've caught each type but it's still a nice treat to get one adds variety to the usual stream of constant sea bass
Still need the Gar also no goliath beetle yet I've just planted even more coconut trees to try and encourage it to spawn
Also no flies despite having a few cans and those bin bags you can craft all grouped together.

Yep. It's pretty easy to be honest. I used it to make amiibo for my son's Mario Odyssey and something similar for Lego Dimensions.

I see there's a USB adapter called Power Saves that allows you to spoof Amiibos, but I don't know if I need it, I've literally never thought about Amiibo's until now.
Anyone helped out the stoner dog with his tasks? I took the worst wedding photograph ever, in a dark room with wedding benches facing all kinds of directions.

I've done 2. They had no guests at their wedding as it wouldn't let me summon the villagers from my island. I've done a ceremony one and a reception one
It's too boring to do every day I'm doing every so often if I have nothing better to do. The museum stamp rally repetition was bad enough I did that every day as you could at least just run round.
The prizes are also not good enough to give me the motivation to take part if they were I'd consider taking part more
Probably is, making money is easy, spend any spare time you have fishing, save the profits and then spend them all on turnips
just look for high prices to sell at, people post their prices in here, theres also a subreddit for turnips and turnip.exchange too
i have bought turnips once and have over 12m in the bank from it

when he mentions replacing a villager dont go any further with the conversation unless its someone you want to lose, you can just hit the home button and close the game with x before it has a chance to save, reload the game then go back to the campsite and cycle through the conversations again until he chooses somebody else to leave
ive managed to replace two or my daughters villages this way, its a bit of a grind but does the job

ive let a few of mine move when they have asked, i let Merengue and Sylvia both move and today Chops asked to move so he’ll be gone soon too, i still have 1 of my original villagers

Been working on a little project on my island after clearing a whole area. I've been finding removing a lot of the higher levels in your islands really frees up space.
Also Buck and Melba have both moved out. I'm getting Pate and Vic in tomorrow I think. Buck left his 50 inch wall mounted TV so I'm well happy with that.

Has anyone managed to catch a fly yet? I've had a pile of trash down for a while which I dont really want as it isnt pleasing to the eye but no flies?
I even stood around a bit waiting for it to spawn flipping Pashmina kept walking right by the trash so no hope it would have spawned and she wouldn't get out the way so I pushed her onto the jetty and stood right in the way so she couldn't get out

Ugh. I knew I should have kept inviting people to the campsite.
I went to a mystery island to see who would spawn there, and what were the odds that I would get one of only two villagers who had moved out of our village already. Bloody Renee. She pretended she didn't know me as well. The horrible cow threw me a birthday party only weeks ago!
Ha. I did manage it eventually. Bought a turnip to rot and it attracted the ants and flies. Annoyingly, if you try to net it when both have spawned, the fly escapes and you just get the ants. So you have to scare away the ants near their hole and the fly remains.
Work tweeted my Animal Crossing designs!
Ah ok I'll give turnips ago I've got the ant just need the fly. I've got a batch of 10 turnips left so unless the turnip prices are good tomorrow I'll let them rot what did you do while awaiting it to spawn? General chores etc keeping checking back or did you just stand their

Unfortunately, it takes a while to rot. I think if you take one out of your bunch of 10, that will do it.
