How was he allowed to leave on free? He may not have been good enough for United 3 years ago, and maybe he won't be in the future, as well, but he was an asset, clearly valuable asset, in retrospect. There is no way he should have been allowed to go on free. The multitude of ways this club was mismanaged is absolutely insane.
Now is the time to bring him home. Get it done for a small fee in January.

Imo, him leaving was better for everyone.
If he'd stayed, he would have had a couple of failed loan moves and probably been sold for a small fee a year ago.
Him being able to have some stability has allowed him to properly develop and means he is now a far better player. If we can get him back in January or the summer for a decent fee, that would be an ideal scenario.
Last thing we want is another weak as piss midfielder to get pushed off the ball. Can we start building a team of monsters please.

Seriously though, I agree. We need much more presence and physicality in our team. Amadou Onana was available for some time but we decided to wait until Villa had all but signed him before we made an approach. I also think we're just going after lightweight attackers. Garnacho, Amad, Antony etc. They just fall to ground so easily, it's ridiculous. Where are the Salahs and Manés?

Totally agree. Would sign Angel as a backup rotation player but thats why he left in the first place. We already have Mainoo who is physically stronger and technically as good
