Not sure what formation we will be playing now.. We will probably shift to a back 4 line again - but will it be 4-3-3 or 4-2-3-1 or 4-5-1??

My guess is this:

-------------DDG
Rafael - Evans - Jones - Shaw
-----Herrera - New CM-------
Di Maria - Rooney - Januzaj
---------RVP

RVP can be replaced by Rooney, and he can be replaced by Mata.

Pretty confused that some of you and Neville suggests that Di Maria should be used in a more central role - didn't think that played to his abilities? Some suggest he should be played in the "new cm" role...?

Another option would be a strict 4-3-3 - but we lack midfielders for that imo?
Eh? He played central for Real last season and was arguably their best player.

It's certainly no 'They say...he is a legend'

Rooney's single line delivery in the cheesy kit advert is equally shocking. Why are our sports stars so terrible in front of a camera? The most natural I've seen is Jessica Ennis.

I may be mistaken, but their 3rd kit has a "Dragon" imprint on it . See the "Real Madrid 2014/2015" thread.

So I assume they're looking at the dragon egg?

But why the dragon theme? At least we had some shit excuse for the tablecloth one, what's theirs?!

Not sure I get this, competing in what sense? Seeing as in this transfer, United seemed to be pretty much the only option for him as PSG couldn't afford it. It's hardly like the club was in a threeway tussle with other European giants and came out on top.

Maybe they mean that United is still a top club that top stars will go to ?
Remember we're not in CL this season.

No one's going to 'compete' with you if you continue to pay a 100% premium.

Oh look everybody it's Peter. Please give some replies to his post so he can have some attention.

Good, we need to start flexing our financial muscle. We're the biggest club in England, we should be attracting the best.
Fellaini (100% OTT), Mata (50%), Herrera (50%), Shaw (100%), Di Maria(100%). A lot of muscle going to waste.

I think SSN needs to understand the meaning of Breaking News. Redknapp getting an extension at QPR or Lennon not being offered a job at Palace is not fecking breaking news. Get yo shit together.

could we be doing away with fullbacks altogether? Is Van Gaal wanting to revolutionise football and its modern tactics by going 3-2-3-2?

DDG
Jones Evans Rojo
Herrera DeJong
Januzaj Mata Di Maria
RVP Rooney

It would be brave but teams would be scared to death of us

That dude on Sky is very insistent he's only on 190k a month, he's said it on three very different live recordings.

£60m total bargain for those cheap wages.

No, no Loon, because it was Arsenal, he was probably signed at a discount, especially with Wenger being an economist and all...

Right. I see. I must admit I look at the Real Madrid squad and my first thought is: "they're not very thrifty..."

So SSN is a channel dedicated to transfers and waiting around outside training grounds all day to see new players and they miss Di Maria's arrival and only see the back of a SUV.

Good work SSN, good fecking work.
