Not necessarily, I think he'd want a stable club that wouldn't sell him in order to get the next "star". The guy played his best season for Madrid and they are selling him to buy the new flavour of the month. Besides didn't he once say he'd love to play for us? He was still at Benfica at the time.

I hope so but I always keep remembering that last season was the first he actually played consistently on a very high level and the majority of the season in central midfield as to us probably looking for a winger.
But if we have the money I'm glad we are spending it on a player like him and not on 2-3 Fellainis.

Wingers usually take longer to get playing at a consistent level. While he was playing as a CM he spent large parts of the game going to the left while Ronaldo moved centrally.
Its what Nani could and should have become for us.
Yeah I talked about this before that he utilized the room that Ronaldo vacated to great effect and his pace and dribbling skills allowed him to usually shake off the slower midfielders when compared to fullbacks. But I also guess he is now at a good age to finally have matured enough to deliver consistent performances at a very high level and I'm pretty sure that he would instantly be light years better than any of our wingers bar maybe Nani if he ever gets back to his best and that is a big if.

His a player we could really use. We lack pace and while he adds that his probably on par with Robben/Messi when dribbling at pace especially in tight spaces his a goal threat and has a good assist record.

Wouldn't bother me I just want a pacy wide player with some actual ability and consistent.
While this looks awesome on paper I wouldn't feel comfortable with Herrera and Vidal in the center, both like to be involved in attack way too much, which means our defense would have almost no protection from midfield and restricting either Vidal or Herrera to mainly defensive duties would be a waste imo.
Put in Martinez or Carvalho instead of Vidal and the whole lineup would look way more balanced imo.
Herrera has played in a DLP role in the past and Vidal is on record as saying he feels he's the best DM in the world. Those two would be a fantastic partnership.
Di Maria would be incredibly awesome, I'd take him over Sanchez. Not over Reus though.
