He's not just a poacher, he's fast, powerful and can run with the ball as well. He's basically a mixture of a less scummy Vardy, and RVN. Certainly wouldn't be a backup.

Manchester United generates views and exposure for them. We are linked to so many players that it is a guarantee that most of them are not wanted by us because the managers list does not have 10 different options for every position like journalists say.

Expect him to join Milan eventually. We'll get Morata.
I expect him to stay at Torino. Even arsenal could finally spend big.
Milan needs a striker and since Auba is out and Morata refused to go to Italy, the only available options are Costa and Belotti.
I expect them to push for him and he'll suit them well.

you are hoping anywayNot worth that much. We will be crazy to spend that much on a goal poacher with no technical ability. From what I have seen, he is vastly limited and rely heavily on his team to score goals. Of the other named strikers we are interested in; Morata, lukaku, Lacazette and Aubrameyang, they are all capable of producing solo goals and moment of brilliance out of nothing. Or at least have a positive effect on our build up play.
If we buy Belotti for 70M, when a proven goalscorer in Lukaku is available for 80M, then I'll be very confused.
Lukaku doesn't want to play for us, he wants Chelsea. Its very clear.
Just watched a compilation and he spends half his time on the wings and deep it seems. Is that what we need? Chicha was rarely on the wing and he's the type of player I want. We've got Messi Lindgard to cut in from the wings and blaze it over.

I would describe him as probably a mix of tevez and vieri, without the polish of either player. Really interesting kid.
Belloti is no backup. I'd take him over Morata as I feel he would fit Jose' system like a glove. Big, strong, hard working, quickish, good in the air and comfortable with the ball at his feet. Reminds me of Drogba quite alot, so it wouldn't suprise me if Jose went all out to sign him. Never goes missing in games, in fact whenever I've seen him play he tends to stand out.
This one seems like a no brainer to me.
Just go and get him blow fecking Milan out of the water they can't compete with is financially or in terms of status.
I'm sold on him, spend the money. His link up play and dribbling isn't incredible but he isn't some one dimensional tap-in merchant like some people are calling him. You don't garner the amount of praise he has without being a truly good player. He's young and ticks all the boxes for a Jose striker for me + I like his celebration, so let's get this one done. Obviously we're going to have to pay over the odds, but at this point I'd rather pay a ridiculous sum for a quality striker like him and get that part of business done fairly early instead of panic buying in the last week of the window. I'm sure Jose and Woody know what they're doing

Lukaku doesn't have what it takes to be a top striker at a top club and that is also proven. Apart from his finishing everything else is very average or poor.

He's come off the back of a phenomenal season. 35M probably gets you little more than Shane fecking Long.
