Anderson was one of our better players in that match. And he played with the likes of O'Shea, Martin, Eagles and Dong in the offense. Our entire team in that match was basically youngsters.
Lucas played with Benayoun, Kuyt, Babel, Crouch and Alonso and had a much better defense behind him consisting of more or less their normal starters in Hyypia, Carragher, Finnan and Riise.
So hardly comparable and yet Anderson still came out on top.
