Our transfer department has been a mess for the last year and its as soon as LVG got hired that the leaks stopped.

Yeah, in Andy Mittens interview with Woodward he said that we have been scouting Herrera from even before we played Bilbao in 2012 so he's very much not a Moyes target.
I signed him, Vidal and Kroos in one window and he plays far more often than Kroos and the commentators seem to cream everytime he gets the ball....as good as confirmed as well as Vidal. I can also confirm Zaha becomes world class and we sell Benteke for 70m to City.

A midfielder who actually knows how to play football. Seems like a good idea to buy one. He´s pretty expensive, but Bilbao did very well in the Liga this year so there´s nothing you can do about that. We now have some seriously good options available for all our midfield and attacking positions.

Koke and Kroos are still the preferred Barca targets for that job.
What we need for a site meltdown is Shaw and Herrera to be announced at the same time and then the last line of the announcement to read "Watch this space for more world class signings in the near future......"

Agreed, Rakitic is a fantastic player but has a lot to prove, he in no way has prooved himself anymore than Herrera, not saying Herrera is better but it isnt night and day.
I dont think there were as many fickle and whingy people on here back then.
As a partner to Carrick -- who I still expect will be in our first eleven under LvG -- I think he's a better fit than both Kroos and Fabregas.
