The Caf's Ezza.

Nice that he's found a manager who believes in him. That's half the battle with these loans.
Better one:

Christ how bad are these mugs? First set peice goal of the season in December.
Think you're right, but it's fine for now. He desperately needs professional level game time and it's great that Sunderland are giving him that, which rangers didn't last year.If you’ve watched him play in the academy with Hannibal… there’s a game the two of them play give n go and run rings around the defenders. Amad is a highly technical player excellent in tight spaces. He will make an excellent no.10. I knew the sunderland manager was onto something when he asked Amad to be more aggressive and take more risks. Reminds me of when the Crystal palace manager challenged Zaha to be more aggressive and forget his United stint that had robbed him of confidence and what a player he developed into.
There’s numerous instances Amad gives a pass and is expecting a certain pass back after he moves into better position but the execution of the return pass in weight and accuracy is beyond the sunderland player (I’m sure even they would admit that). Sunderland loan is good but Amad needs a highly technical team as I think he’s reached his limit at Sunderland.
He needs to keep playing. Sitting on the bench for us won't help at all. IMO he's still not at the point he can come in and challenge for the spot regularly.A bit tricky what to do with him next season. On one hand he's doing great and it'd be good to see him given a chance here, on the other hand not getting regular football might disrupt his development.
If I'm being honest, if my son turns out to be a big talent, I'd advise him not join a top club at a young age. Don't think it's good for any young talent at all.

Another year on loan at a PL club would be ideal, but he needs regular matches. You can see the improvement he's had in his first real consistent season of mens football.
Agreed. Unless he somehow becomes so good he can't be ignored, get him out on loan again. You can always recall him in Jan if it's either going very well or very badly.
Anyone know how his long range shooting is?
He needs to get at least 50 senior games under his belt before we can even consider bring him back.
Inconsistent I would say. He can obviously score from range as he’s shown from free kicks but a lot of his shooting from distance can be quite weak. Definitely doesn’t have Rashford or Greenwood’s ball striking gifts.Anyone know how his long range shooting is?
Well he's already got 42 so that's not a particularly high bar. 50 starts is perhaps what you mean?
Actually, what to do with him shouldn't be a rocket science. He is 20, will be 21 in the summer. What to do with him is clear: if he has decent enough season on loan and good pre-season, he will come back and try to make it here. If he cannot then he willl be sold or let go. Can't be treated with kid gloves until the age of 27. And we better start making some money on these players who ain't good enough for us but decent otherwise. This is one of many big ways our footballing side needs to be revamped when a new owner comes in and fires the dummies running the club right nowA bit tricky what to do with him next season. I thought Dalot's story should have thought the cafe to be more patient with very talented youngsters who have not played enough games in their formative years.Actually, what to do with him shouldn't be a rocket science. Diallo playing as a AMC today, have started the game really well. Was about to write Diallo 1-1 after Sunderland got a penalty, but Stewart took it himself…
First time I’ve watched Sunderland this season. Amad having a great impression of the invisible man this second half. Struggling to get involved at all.
i mean, it’s been a bore but for the first 15 or so minutes of the second half he looked like he was in hiding. For someone playing in the attacking midfield position it seemed like he was always miles away from play, always hiding behind defenders and not getting involved. Since then he’s had a bit of play, but either nothing passes or giving the ball away with terrible ones.I’ve not watched but he’s still got the highest average rating from the Sunderland squad from what I can see.
I wouldn’t read too much in to it, especially if it’s been an overall bore fest from both sides.
Fair point but important differences:I thought Dalot's story should have thought the cafe to be more patient with very talented youngsters who have not played enough games in their formative years.
Your entire premise absolutely collapses merely by pointing out the fact that Amad wasn’t by any description an academy player in the slightest.Fair point but important differences:
1. Dalot is a right back, Amad is an attacker. Also Dalot was bought as a senior player, Amad is from our academy and shouldn't require as much adaptation. Different standards.
2. Dalot's main problem was that he was mismanaged by Ole and wasn't getting proper coaching
3. For every Dalot there is examples of Phil Jones and Lingard and many others. Dalot is not a norm, Dalot is an exception. I think it is fair for us to expect that by 21 our academy products are able to start breaking into the main team or let go. Unless we want to be Everton.
The standard at United has to be the best or nothing. There is no other way to win trophies
