Amad Diallo | Rangers loan watch

Been fairly lively since he’s been on.. should’ve scored one already.

He is legitimately good. Just needs minutes.

If he stayed he probably would have got a better go with us since we have nothing to play for.

Gio seems to stick with mostly the same players.

Ten Hag will find a use for him 100% he has fantastic technical ability. He just needs a good coach to develop under, same with Elanga and Mejbri.

He looked good in that cameo. Difficult to understand why he hasn't had more opportunities.

I'd probably keep him in the squad for next season. None of our current options on the right are as good as he is.

Just needs to finish off the season well with Rangers and we can reassess in pre season. He'll have learned a lot from this, let's hope he takes the positives.

Yep, this loan spell hasn't really changed my opinion on him.

Harry Kane was sitting on the bench for Leicester just 2 years before hitting 30 goals for Spurs and there are other examples of failed loans for players who turned out to be great.

Sometimes a hard/bad experience can be just as important as a good one.

Rangers have had a decent season and he will know what it takes to make it in a competitive squad now.

Its up to him to step it up and prove he's got what it takes. I do think he could have been given more chances, but maybe choosing Rangers wasn't the smartest move when they have plenty of attacking talent already.

it does seem strange how they've almost blamed him solely for losing to Celtic.

be good to recall him for our last games.

Give players like him, Hannibal, Rashford, Sancho plenty of minutes together as they will be here next year

Exactly, he could have pissed the SPL and come back and bombed here, it will be very much down to him to make what he will of this experience.

It looks more like we loaned him to a strong team rather than he can't break into a weak team.

Indeed. Rangers, in Europe especially are a good side. GVB also doesn't seem to rotate much going by opposing fans opinions.

Not getting much of a chance but still think this is a good learning curve for him. Massive club, massive pressure, shame that he’s not seeing much game time but they are still fighting on three fronts going into the last few weeks of the season, so he may get a few games yet.
Crazy that he could potentially have, a cup, a league and European competition winner medals by the time he comes back to us

Don't you need to play for a minimum number of games in each competition to qualify for the medals? Or is that a old ruling

Looking good when he plays again.

Bet the keeper with a shot but good block by the defender.

Just needs to keep getting game time.

Rangers scored. Amad involved albeit not much. Very clearly one of their more technical players

Was a corner routine from the training ground

Think he does miss a bit of intensity to his game that the modern forward tends to have these days. Looking very composed on the ball though.

Load of bullshit. Amad playing well as he does most time he is given a go but he is the one fecked over cause his teammate got a stupid Red Card

We should recall him now and give him a go ourselves!

One of the players who might benefit most from Ten Hag?

He’s a very similar player to Antony and whenever he played for us he looked like an effective presser.
