It means he plays in front of full stadiums getting roughed up from defenders much larger than him and not as technically proficient, as well as having to find a way to break down teams playing deep. In many ways it’s a perfect move.

What do you mean it took him 2 campaigns ‘to be involved with City’? 2 seasons from when? Did he go on loan or something? He was gradually playing for the first team since he was about 17 or 18.
And him being ‘twice the player’ is a baseless statement at this point. Foden is 21, Amad is 19, and was regarded as the second best teenager in the world when we bought him and cost £20m+ at 18. He is not of a lesser profile than a young(er) Foden at all, and how they turn out is yet to be seen. Foden has also had perfect conditions for his talent so far.

This will be a super experience for him. Character building. I think we should try and loan to the old firm more often. They are dominant on a ball in that league and play European football. You just have to make it happen and that’s what players like amad and Hannibal do. I hope he does well and gets a PL loan next year. Then we’ll know if he’s ready or not. No doubt in my mind he’ll be playing EL/CL football in the future wherever he ends up. Quality youngster and another good spot from the scouting team. Credit where credit is due.
Oh, I'm not putting Amad down but this suggestion that Amad would be just as involved in the City squad is abit deluded. Foden was/is a seriously well rounded player, more so than Amad at a similar age. It's not a put down, its just how it is.
