Thank god. Hope we dont go near him.
Can he actually refuse to go back though?
Dont think so. It is written into both player and club contracts that the buyback is binding i think
'Never buy out of tournaments'
Sir Alex Ferguson
Can he actually refuse to go back though?
No, he can't.
I'm sure they can. Burnley signed Jelle Vossen on the 6th of July, and then sold him to Club Brugge on the 30th of August.are they allowed to sell him in the same transfer period in which they bought him?
Nah, they may aswell have left him there lol. Madrid are that mental i think theyd end up paying 100m or maybe. (euros that is)Can see Real bidding £80mil + Morata for Pogba
WC best players that were available to Sir Alex:
World Cup Golden Ball Silver Ball Bronze Ball
1990 ItalySalvatore SchillaciLothar MatthäusDiego Maradona
1994 United StatesRomárioRoberto BaggioHristo Stoichkov
1998 FranceRonaldoDavor ŠukerLilian Thuram
2002 Korea/JapanOliver KahnRonaldoHong Myung-bo
2006 GermanyZinedine ZidaneFabio CannavaroAndrea Pirlo
2010 South AfricaDiego ForlánWesley SneijderDavid Villa
I don't think buying any of them (at their peak) would hurt.
Juve are cheapskates.Yhe i mean when they signed him, should have offered Madrid few more million to remove the buyback clause
There was a French football journalist on Talk sport saying that Perez wants to keep Ronaldo happy by keeping him the most expensive player, so won't pay 120m for him but 80-90 + Morata or Kovacic.Nah, they may aswell have left him there lol. Exactly. Tournaments are still good event to scout players. They're still playing football there. Not like most of them weren't great outside of the World Cup.

If that's the case how do they decide the player wages. If the player isn't satisfied with the wages being offered then how do they sign him regardless of the binding contract. I doubt there is also a binding estimated salary included in the previous contract.

Wouldn't that be a bad decision for the player given he might rise in value 2 years from then?He probably agreed to a contract when the deal to take him to Juventus was made.

His record with Juve isn't that impressive, why so much buzz about him?
Juve are cheapskates.
They probably wanted to lower the fee.
Oh what a signing that would have been. Can confirm, if we weren't cheapskates... Verratii would have been a Juve player

I think he was more referring to buying players that were not previously scouted.
Therefore the Bebe transfer was a clear indication that Sir Alex was losing his way a little.
Morata so overrated... 7 goals in 34 games in Serie A last season. Useful, elegant but a CF who doesn't score a lot.
He basically scores every time people watch him play. Scored in both legs in the CL semis against Real, scored in the CL Final, was excellent against Bayern in the away leg and had a legitimate goal wrongly disallowed IIRC, and recently scored in the Coppa Italia Final. The anti-Cavani.His record with Juve isn't that impressive, why so much buzz about him?

Most Juve die hards are in shambles over losing him. Back to back double winners and a Top 5-6 club in Europe, theoretically, they won't find it hard to find a replacement for him but they know what he brings to the table.
Regarding some posts that say Morata is fooling for going along with Real's plan, I say he's played this situation perfectly.
Real Madrid is ruthless but Morata outsmarted them this time. The only possible loser is Juve if Alvaro becomes WC/Top 6-10 in his position.
- If Real doesn't buy him back, he can play the 'I've always wanted to stay in Turin' card and come back a hero
- But since RM will, he gets a chance to play for his childhood club and still the world's biggest club
- If RM flogs him to the PL, he'll get the playing time he craves - Allegri doesn't trust him for whatever reason - and he'll get a pay rise
Do you think he gets of Real's bench? And who will be prepared to buy him if Real insists on £60m for him?
