So we can sell Henderson and make some profit.

It's almost too obvious isn't it?

Hendo out for £20mil
This lad in for £4mil over 5 year deal.

Creates £19mil in FFP room and gets rid of wages and a player that doesn't want to be here.

The sort of thing that if Brighton do it, its a genius move.

Watch us sell Hendo for 4,5

This has to be a part of some kind of money laundering scheme? Makes no sense whatsoever.

let's just pray it happens and it gets us Amrabat or another mifielder.

I am so sorry to hear this news. A club like Manchester United should aim to have a better backup keeper…

I know a few Turkish fans and have watched a few games of Altay myself… He is currently becoming their second goal keeper and a lot of Fenerhahce fans would even want to release him as they are so fed up with his level during games. We are really being laughed at right now to pay €5m for a player like him, if we don’t buy him, they would consider to release him or loan him out for free. Fenerbahce themselves are about to sign with the Croatian goalkeeper whose name I cannot remember, but we were also after him, and have already signed another keeper that is currently in front of Altay…

....your telling me this guy is better then someone in the academy? No fecking way

Why did we sell Kovar again? What is the logic of selling Kovar for 5m and spend that money on a player that is so much worse than him and won’t be able to act as a backup if needed

The worst keeper we’ve been linked with in the last few years by a mile. And we’ve been linked with dozens.

Club scouting and squad building strategy is in the bin. Never been so bad. Needs ripped out root and stem.

There's a MU person doing high octane high frequency trading, closing deals left and right, unfortunately it's the GK coach.

Plot twist: They take Greenwood for a year to raise his value in the market before we sell him, so we do them a solid and pay them 5m for someone they wanted to bin?

Edit: This might support this hypothesis:

Second hypothesis:

He's there for training to give our front players confidence.

People are still losing their minds over minute-long fail compilation videos, let alone for a 50p backup keeper?

Consider having a day off, lads.

Kovar wanted regular football but also there is the FFP calculation.

Both are 5M but the money from Kovar goes straight into the accounts but we can amoritize the fee for Bayindir. Presumably that means 3-4M surplus in this years accounts which figures as we are trying to scrounge together the money for another midfielder and it will probably be a few deals like this that pay for it. Hopefully Heaton stays as number 2 and Onana is never hurt.

This.

You can make such a clip for absolutely anyone in world football.

That said - I miss the days when we had Lindegaard or Romero as back up GK.
