Hmm, wonder why there’s not one tweet on that tagged journo’s twitter about this. Surely these utdplug etc. wouldn’t make stuff up to gain traction.

Won't be surprised if there's some credibility to this. Henderson is not going to be a second choice goal keeper for us and we need a backup. A player of this profile who is available for 3-5m fits perfectly.

We could very well be in for two keepers, although I wouldn’t be surprised if we ended up using the loan market for the 2nd gk again, with the financial/ownership situation we’re in.

Just pointing out that the twitter account tagged a Turkish journo who hasn’t tweeted anything about the rumour. Surely he would if that was true, he’d easily gain a few followers by simply using our name.

Will he come over to be the 3rd choice goalie? But anything to shift Deano out or his transfer value starts to drop rapidly.

Looks like a young Jon Bernthal. As long as hes got good distribution skills and can command his area, go for it I say.

Happy with him but a bit suspicious he’d leave for €5m having signed a new 4-year contract a few months ago as their number 1 GK. Something doesn’t add up.

Underlying back issue maybe? Suspect that's why we are doing a pre medical in Turkey itself.

Bayindir apparently passed a health check and has returned to Istanbul. I’m guessing there’s no issues with his back then?

Don't have the foggiest who this is, so about the same level of muppet hype as I had for Mount

What was the point of selling Kovar to then go for this?
Cause Kovar would've got about 2 minutes playing time all season and he has potential to be a decent keeper.

Don't understand why we're wasting money on a backup keeper who isn't particularly highly rated.

At worst he’s just another body to cover like Dubravka. Heaton is 37 and picks up injuries so another one is needed. Just be relieved that Henderson will finally go.

5m euros is pittance for a back up keeper. Not sure why anyone particularly cares who he is, he won't play a single important game.

I swear we waste all of our scouting resources every year just to bring a backup gk.

Hey Guys a Fener fan here

I always read this forum. I am a United fan too. I want to write about Altay Bayindir I will be honest

Strength: He is very talented Gk. Tall, good reflexes, nice long shot stopper. He is good at One on one situations. Also he is very nice guy as a person. Unselfish and good caracter.

Weakneses: He is not mentally strong and could be broken after consecutive mistakes. One mistake could cause another. He sometimes can have issues against crosses. Last year He had a bad season. He is booed by fans. He is not coming with a good form

Fener’s last title win was 2014 and fans are very impatient. The fan pressure is huge ( more than any team in England). That is why Fener want a new gk

He is considered as a back up for United. This can be good for Altay too. He need some time to refresh his head. New club new country new challange better stuff. He definately has talent. Nice start 2-3 good games could carry him another level. He has chance to be first option at long period. He need a new start. He is worth to try if the fee is around 6-7 m euros

Why would you splash 5m for another GK who's most likely only play 2-5 games throughout season? this signing doesnt make any sense considering we are still struggling to fund another CM, ST, and maybe CB.

I refuse to believe there aren't any backup keepers anywhere in the world that would cost us nothing.
