We recruited him as our second goalkeeper. He would need to start every game if Onana got injured (or when Onana was shit and we needed better) but he is not even championship level, so thank God Onana is not injured, and we have no alternative to Onana
There are plenty of $4M nothing goalkeepers in some remote leagues, nobody buys them for top clubs

great bounce-back performance from him. he’s a young and promising goalkeeper, it’s going to be bumpy for a bit, but his mentality shine through. maybe he’ll come good here. great management from amorim to trust him in a game where he is massively in the spotlight. he’s really growing into the role and there are so many small shoots emanating from the club to be positive about.
