EDIT. Taken the name out.
How many left wingers do you know of that performed better in the Premier League and are yet unpicked? Just give me a number.yes you are right, my mistake. still don't rate him as highly as some do on here so i guess that where the dissonance is coming from
the draft isn't just about left-wingers right? How many left wingers do you know of that performed better in the Premier League and are yet unpicked? Just give me a number.
Err..the draft isn't just about left-wingers right?
Really?? #mostrandomcommentofthedraft!the draft isn't just about left-wingers right?
see as an attacking left-sided player he is very good, but I would have thought some of the older players in other positions might have been picked ahead of him. but as i edited my earlier post, i wouldn't say that the third round is too early if you were looking specifically at attacking players to play on the left.Err..
it is not if you can understand context, but again the very understanding of context can be subjective when we consider the variety of cultures that we come from considering that perspectives can be hugely varying within twins in their second decadeReally?? #mostrandomcommentofthedraft!
why is it weird? i am not saying he is bad player, i was just expressing an opinion that i wouldn't have rated him as a third round pick, but maybe i am wrong and considering the vagaries of a draft it isn't surprising that he was the 35th player to be pickedVery weird reasoning but ok's ok haha.
Overrated. Big fish in a small pond, doesn't work for me much.Has noone picked *** *** ****** yet?
He has admitted he is biased against modern player which is fair enoughVery weird reasoning but ok's ok haha.
He would've been the world's best had he not been injured for 2/19ths of the season mate. What class. What vision. What technique.Overrated. Big fish in a small pond, doesn't work for me much.
he would have been one of my first picks, him along with Bergkamp. the vision would be insane but no way that team would win any votes on hereHe would've been the world's best had he not been injured for 2/19ths of the season mate. What class. What vision. What technique.
I enjoyed watching him, good highlights reel but you need a bit more than that. Would be a decent pick at this stage, mind.He would've been the world's best had he not been injured for 2/19ths of the season mate. What class. What vision. What technique.
Haha, I've got three on my list...tempted to get one this round but really want two others instead! If anyone has a spare LW in mind, please feel free to PM me.

Are you playing? Are you? Are you??There goes my legacy man.
He is Lord Krishna of the drafts, mortals combat against each other but everything is a part of his plan. Are you playing? Are you? Are you??

Not sure what the problem is there.
Were there better players than Hazard left? Yes. Plenty better than him in wide roles got picked after him as well.
There's a more nuanced point which comes with draft experience (which @sajeev has little, with a single draft under his belt), that of the specific type of left winger and demand vs. supply in terms of favoured formations. E.g. the problem 4-3-3 entailed: most wide players in the PL era are largely wide midfielders, not wide forwards.
But that's far from an obvious insight. Not at all a random comment.
