Ah feck, Carvalho was going to be my next pick.
We then settled on Carvalho as our fourth pick.2 out of Evra, Zabaleta, ***, Alexis, Mascherano
Yeah we mulled that over. Ultimately we were persuaded that his performance level at Chelsea was high enough to justify it. Obviously he's pushed on to even greater heights at Bayern (and there's an argument that nearly all the wide attackers selected so far played better elsewhere), but he certainly had all the raw tools and tore plenty of full-backs to shreds in his time here. Acknowledging injuries there as well, but importantly he played over 125 games for club and country during his three years in England. And unless Edgar pops up with a Tevezbola round, he's going to be on the park and raring to go.Deliberated over Robben for ages. His first 6 months at Chelsea was incredible, don't think i've enjoyed watching a rival player as much. I think his overall spell though was just too blighted by injury and inconsistancy to use a Chelsea pick on.

Would I be right in thinking we are excluding national performances from judgement due to this being a premier league draft?
Looks like thats us until tomorrow
Peter Beardsley
We got a pretty good amount of picks done. Now I have time to think about what picks to get stolen before our next turn.
Genius
I thought you would approve.
played left right and down the middle. same as with Everton as well.
In Newcastle, though, I remember him playing from the right and the middle, and he was equally as good. ***************************** was not bad from the right, but Beardsley was something special from there.from what i found he played behind the striker in the second spell, otherwise i would have pick him....

but he was twice in Newcastle, in first spell he spent much more time on wide but thats before 1992(when this draft starts), from what i found and i looked as i wanted him in the second spell he played behind the striker or as a striker. Im just curios, did stobz found something or does he know something that i dont because it would be painful if i missed out on him because of poor research
Beardsley did become a #10 during his later years, but even in his second spell at Newcastle during the years that Newcastle bought ********* from ***********, he was still playing out wide when Shearer, **********, and ********* would play through the middle. ********* also had his own issues (injuries and others), so Beardsley got quite a bit of time out wide on the right particularly with Ginola on the left.but he was twice in Newcastle, in first spell he spent much more time on wide but thats before 1992(when this draft starts), from what i found and i looked as i wanted him in the second spell he played behind the striker or as a striker. Who would you say in paticular? I'd say Cutch Gio and berba are my favorite teams so farsome teams staaaarting to take a bit of form here.
These asterisks are hurting my eyes
