How many of the people voting for Antohan have actually witnessed his players play? Diarm gets my vote because I have a rough idea of how his team might play together, having seen most of his players play during my lifetime.
Just to say credit to diarm for dealing with all of anto's antics and landing equal punches of his own. This is awesome!

No, as I said before I had decided to vote for anto since last night. But diarm has done a fantastic job and that held me up reading his debates. As I may be offline soon, decided to plonk my vote now.
The problem with that approach is, that you won't ever learn anything new about the game and it's fecking boring to play it that way. For me (and for many others?), these 'kinda silly' draft games are mostly a ride through the history of the game, through decades of fantastic football stories, of great drama. It's about learning what players in previous decades, in lesser known competitions achieved and it's what leads to some of the best football discussion on the internet. You get to read from people all around the world of different ages who followed different teams and different players. Obviously it's sometimes impossible to put it all together perfectly in your mind, when trying to make a decision who to vote for. But so what. Let it inspire you, have an open mind and maybe look into some of the players yourself, if you're not sure about it.
Don't dismiss greats of the game from previous decade just because you don't know them. They deserve better. If you're not convinced they're actually that great after reading into them, that's a different story.

By scale, there are only a couple of minutes left on the clock. Who's going to step up and pinch it? The side who has been passing the ball around and owning possession all game or the side who has been chasing the ball and closing down all this space all game?

I hate it too when I leave voting for late and then realise how big an impact my vote has. More often then not, I chicken out

Anyhow, I've told you already, have it. I'm done with it for good. There's no point getting excited about the great stories to be told in a draft format if all it will end up in is people pleading ignorance and going for the angle that "you should go with what you know".
I told @Joga Bonito this draft was destined for that once Kazi looked a dead-man walking, Pat_Mustard was bound to get zero credit for Law and one of us two would knock each other out.
The only positive I take out of this is that after doing the hard slog of introducing Schuster in drafts he now seems to get the sort of appreciation he deserves.

Don't be that guy. You've created an awesome side and you beat what I thought was the best side in the draft in the first round. You have to live and die by the same rules and if I came out and laid down for your team of golden oldies the game wouldn't be any more fun.

I've said a long time ago I didn't want any of that any more. It's just not fun after a while. You are the one saying Schiaffino and Gunnar Nordahl can't rape Beppe Baresi and Sol Campbell. That's not attacking your players, it is being truthful, they are well out of their depth here.
For the record, I've had nothing but praise for Tardelli, Schuster, Klinsi and Voller throughout the game. I even told you @Joga Bonito was right you should switch to 4-2-2-2.
