ALL Ronaldo's future/comments/speculation

Anyways if the latest report is to be believed, then Ronaldo will say nothing more until after the Euros.

I wouldn't fancy that. Regular season is the time for suspense, silly season should be about fun and games. But all this Ronaldo stuff is making me realize how lucky we are to be supporting what is 99% of the time a buying club and not a selling one. He'll stay, his mother says so. And if there's one thing Ron strikes me as, it's a massive mama's boy. No shame in that.

For someone who's been trying to avoid all of this Ronaldo talk, it's proving to be quite a nightmare. Real Madrid are definately doing well on the media front.

I'm just fed up with Ronaldo not saying anything. End the stupid speculation already - whether you stay continue to be successful at the world's biggest club or feck off like that cnut Heinze to the spain circus, I just don't care anymore.

The way he's handled all of this, leaving us hanging by our fecking balls, especially after the way the club and the fans we've supported him all the while he's been here, has been very disappointing on his part.

They said on the radio this morning he's admitted he wants to leave

End of speculation i guess

On the basis of an inexistant interview for Brazilian newspapers, Terra. Yes, that's definitely the end of speculation for you.

They said on the radio this morning he's admitted he wants to leave

End of speculation i guess

He admitted yesterday apparantly to a "Terra Netwroks" Internet communications. I say it is complete and utter bollocks and i am waiting to hear a speech in english; which is more than 2/3 words.

They said on the radio this morning he's admitted he wants to leave

End of speculation i guess

Please. Until I see a video of him actually saying those words, I say its bullshit.
In his last interview he actually said that the press always makes up stories about him and he's used to it...

So what if the fecking radio says it? If you were to believe the news, you'd now see silvestre in lyon, drogba, lampard and essien at inter, and shevchenko back at milan....

Its all bullshit....nobody actually knows the story.

Give me a fecking clip where he says "i leave"...because all i've heard from his fecking mouth is "i stay"......

fecking bollox, this media.....all of them...marca, sky, radio....

feck the fecking media and journalists, you idiots lack integrity, and make up stuff to sell your papers...grade A cnuts, the lot of them....

feck off, wankers.

we havent denied it .. he hasnt denied it ..
i know we dont have to . but i wouldve expected some statement from him by now ..

he might not have said anything yet, but looks like he wants to leave ..

very similar to heinze last season. .. keeping quiet , said he'll talk after the copa america .. we said we expected him back in training ..

dont want him to go , but if he does , we better get a good price for him ..

i'd kill gill if we sold him for ~40m

fecking bollox, this media.....all of them...marca, sky, radio....
...and Sir Alex...and Carlos...wankers. Scaremongers. Nothing to it at all.

One thing after another from people close to Ronaldo - his agent, his national team coach, his uncle...and his manager and assistant manager have been in the press making threats (SAF) and raving like a lunatic (CQ). If he really wanted to stay with United, he would have said something this week to calm this thing down. Instead he puts it off, then puts it off a bit more, then says (supposedly) "Nothing more til after the Euros".

He wants to go, but he's been quite clever not to actually come out and say it in English, in front of a journalist. "Plausible deniability" is what they call it in Washington DC. But the flirtation will increase the pressure on United to sell, to allow him to leave. He has a very clever agent thus far, I'd say. And either he wants out, or he's willing to risk harming his relationship with the club over a larger contract.

Either way I don't like it.

Day by day it seems more likely that Ronaldo will leave. I hope he doesnt but in seems that way because

1. Real on the issue - They made a public statement that they wud not sign a player who is under contract but yet through Marca made it clear they want to. The last statement : "(Ronaldo) is an impossible signing because his club don't want to sell him. We can't do anything if the club that owns him don't want to sell.

"We would never (approach a player under contract) as this is not the policy of Real Madrid, and especially not with a club who we are such good friends with." Its between the club and the player.

I think Real know they wud sign him so they made the statement to keep their hands clean in the matter. They spoke to Ronny and asked him to publicy declare he wants to sign for Madrid.

2. Fergie's comments about letting him rot in the reserves hasnt helped:nervous:

3. Most importantly he is not loyal. A time back he wanted to become an OT Legend. But now he shows his true colours.

I think if he wants to go. Let him. We get a huge deal and move on. We'd rather have someone who loves the club playing for the club.

See this is what happens when England don't qualify for a tournament. Mindless inaccurate bollocks.

HE WILL NOT LEAVE ! Did anyone even see the SSN interview yesterday with Terra. Its clear the quotes are a clear red-herring. However the rags have gone with it, because lets face it, theres nothing good else going on at the moment.

Chill people. Until you actually visually see him say "I want to leave", then don't start pressing the panic button just yet.

We have to just get used to this every summer now.

I think he'll go.

He has been with us 5 years and has won everything possible in the premiership.

The contract Madrid are offering sounds fantastic, you would have to consider it.

The weather is better.

He would be fullfillings his dream.

If I remember correctly he is best mates with Heinze.

On the plus side for us, he has overcome all the media shite after the world cup and is respected by most people who can appreciate a exceptional footballer when they see one.

I can see us having a sustainable period of success with him at the club.

He is adored by OT and has even got us scarf waving.

If he goes we will have the opportunity to go balls out for a megastar who actually wants to stay at the club.

I just hope he realises that the grass is not always greener on the other side.

Look at Beckham, one league trophy to show for his 'big step up' to madrid.

I think if he wants to go. Let him. We get a huge deal and move on. We'd rather have someone who loves the club playing for the club.

The thing is mate, very few footballers love the clubs they play for. Gary Neville is probably the only first team player at United who truly truly loves the club. Sure there's always Scholes and Giggsys. But the point I am making is that, players care less for emotions.

"We will come out on top no matter what!"

Let me get started.

I feel that the fact that we won the cl even considering the fact that our starplayer missed a crucial penalty in 2 of what probably where the most important cl games tell us that we dont depend of him as much as much as some caftards would lead you to believe. It tells us that we have a fantastic team even that when our so called "talismanic" player doesnt respond we can still win titles. Now see talismanic is a huge word and I will come out and say that Rooney is our talismanic player not ronaldo. we never lost a game with rooney on the pitch. In SB he was taken off and thats not a game we where expecting so much to win with a weakened side.

Now Ill tell you ronnie was the x factor (a la ruud 2003, actually better) in our pl and cl runs. he scored from eveywhere, even with his crotch. Now ill give him full credit for his freekicks and penalties obviously but what most people fail to see is that most of his other goals where "ruud" goals, most caftards praise and just seem to notice ronaldo's fantastic stats and his 42 goals.

ill give him credit for being a fantastic guy with his head and for having an instict to score better than anyone in the planet. But to tell you the truth without rooney's, scholes', carrick's, nani's, giggs' services and creativity he wouldnt have gotten those 42. its not like in every goal he ran from the wing left 3 guys for dead ala messi and scored. see here is the difference between messi and ronaldo they are both the opposite from each other. messi wll hold possesion for 80 minuted and might not do shite the whole time while ronnie just needs 2 or 1 good plays and he will punish you. thats why i say ronnie is the most effective player in the planet, even if he disappears for those 80 minutes that messi fecks around with the ball ronaldo is more likely to punish in the next 10 than the argentine in 80. (hence the 1 penalty that the ref called and the 2 he failed to call) Ronaldo this season is the most effective player i have seen.

but... no player other than rooney offered as much as he did in creativeness, he defended, he sacrificied, he even play for barcelona as a second rightback! not many attack star players will do that for a team in cl final against barca. This is the kind of player that I want my team to be leaded by in to the new decade. Rooney scored 19 goals this season and gave more than 12 assists not bad for a striker thats 22 and just came back from serious injuries.

Dont get me wrong Ronaldo is the best player in the world right now. And of course he will be missed but I have a feeling that even if he does leave we would still have a great team. Now that the possibility of him leaving seems very possible I am even more glad we got nani and anderson last year.

If he leaves we will adopt a new system and we will definitely get a striker that will probably wont bang in the same amount as him but that will get his job done. Remember in 2006? where will the goals come from? exactly!

Now I hope we dont lose Ronaldo, he is our main asset in attack. he hasnt exactly said infront of the camera he wants to go to madrid but if we do it wont be as bad as some people are making it sound. and will probably make a 90m pound profit of him that will splash some of it (ill leave the speculation to the trasfer muppets)

Losing Ronaldo would be a step backwards but not in the same sense as our second half of 2003 leading up to the end of 2005. The thing is we went down for a period because scholes was off form, giggs years where getting heavy on him and we failed to replace keane sportingwise and psychologically. We also sold our to best offensive midfielders in the european stage (beckham and veron, yeah he sucked in the pl but he was great in europe) in the same year and decide to replace them with kleberson and a wasteful kid with bags of potential. Thank goodness scholsey got back to his best and giggsy did great last season too.

anyways All I know right now (even after all the media bs articles full of fake quotes) is what I have known for a couple of months/years now even before we won the CL.

1) Ronaldo is happy at Manchester United but he dreams of playing in Spain some day. (Who knows when he never comes out and says it) but like some dreams he says it might no come true.

2) His mom and his whole family like Real Madrid, but just like before his mom killed of speculation by saying its def. certain he will be at Manchester United next season.

3) SAF doesnt sell players unless he wants to.

4) Real Madrid suck.

It looks like he will stay for another year or two then he is off, but it wouldnt surprise me if he leaves this summer. What scares me is that if he is to leave in 2 years and doesnt sign another contract in between we might aswell get rid now since his value will go down since he will be getting closer till when his current deal would end.

Anyways personally, Ronaldo could have killed speculation a while ago but he hasn't, its not something hard to do especially for someone that has cameras all over him. Anyways pretty ungrateful from him. He was pure raw talent when he came here, he was really wasteful, would have never made it at Real, Barca, Chelsea, etc at that point. If it wasnt for SAF, Queiroz and Co. this guy would have never been any better than denilson. Anyways I hope he realizes how much Sir Alex and the staff have done for him (wc 2006 also comes to mind) and comes out and kills of all of the speculation or he is honest (and arzwhole) and comes out with his intention to leave.

Honestly I think he just wants a fatter paycheck. Realistically which "best player in world" in their right mind would want to leave a team that just completed the double (I guess one with a huge ego), that pays him 120k a week with 75,000 fans singing his name. in the club where he can develop his brand better than anywhere else? he wont get a better deal anywhere else.

All I ask from him right now is consistency with his declarations, I don't think that is too much to ask is it?

We will come out on top whatever happens. We got Sir Alex Ferguson on our side. no more is needed to be said.

Just to spite Real Madrid, we should flog Ronaldo to Barca and
propose a swap for Messi and Ronaldinho. That will work for me.

What amazes me is that the BBC are still running with this Terra non story. Then again maybe not they are loving this.

If reports are correct, then Fergie should not waste his time trying to go to Switzerland to persuade Ronaldo to stay. All this talk of sitting in the stands or rotting in the reseves is nonsense. What good does that do United ? The Club will have to do an about turn and listen to Madrid's offer. Hopefully it will be realistic - ie cash upfront and plenty of it - 60m, 75m? None of this performance related structured installment stuff . Madrid will have to put its money where its mouth is - the pressure will be on them. The money will allow Fergie to go for two perhaps three top class newcomers. Surely enough compensation for the loss of Ronaldo.

If Ronaldo stays, will his mind be on the task at hand - playing wholeheartedly for United or will it be at the Bernabeau waiting for the season to end ? We cannot go through this every summer (January as well ?). Next year the deal may not be so favourable. Sadly, he has to go.

What annoys me is the fact that having sold RvN, Becks and Heinze to Real, there may now be a perception of United as a selling club. Not in the normal sense of the expression, but it just seems that there is a feeling that we will cave in to Madrid yet again.

I find this quite disturbing. I don't want to get into "who's the biggest club?" debate because its futile, but the board have to stand firm on this and ensure that if we do sell Ronaldo we get THE best possible deal, ideally with the majority of the transfer fee paid up front. I also think we should really put pressure on to get one of their top players as part of the deal. i know this seems like an obvious statement, but it would send out a powerful message.

It concerns me that if Ronaldo leaves and Rooney steps up to the plate and becomes the main man (which he WILL do if Cristiano leaves) that we will have to go through this again next season with him and Real. If this time we can really hurt them, they might think twice before coming back for another of our top players. Hypothetical situation i know, but one that is certainly quite possible.

Agree with a lot there except about Rooney. Hes a different person to Ronaldo. I would bet my left nut he will never play for Madrid. Hes staying at United for a long time. ROONEY!
