English papers have to talk about something cause England didnt qualify and they chose to make up shit about Ronaldo.

it's really getting out of hand the amount of rubbish that's being printed, it also doesn't help when muppets just post wind ups and put false links. the mods need to sort it out.

It's not just English papers unfortunately. It's every paper in the world. They're all selling like hot cakes cos of this and the owners are rubbing their hands in glees. They don't want it to end.
We're having to sort thro the crap though, which isn't easy, in order to find what really are relaible sources.
Plus, we need something to do. No footie and all that.

Just been listening to 5live. They are still running with the Ronaldo 'quotes' to the Brazilian paper about him wanting to leave.

They also played a clip of the journalist who spoke to Ronnie, he basically said that the balls in Real's court now. If the money is right, for both United and Ronaldo, then he'll move. Or something along those lines.

A clip of the interview?

If the mods deleted this thread i think there would actually be deaths. All that hard work gone to waste. Ronaldo is going to have his own forum here if this carries on and i shall not be a part of it. Oh wait........shit

Sorry Cupid if I upset you. It just sort of stuck me that statement when you said it, perhaps it was a good riposte at the time. You said I couldn't compare Ramsey to Ronaldo at 17 even though they are/were two teenagers that Ferguson was interested in. It seemed like to me then that you were one of those people who wanked over everything Ronaldo did. Sorry I misinterpreted you.

In any case as a general statement on this thread, just because Ronaldo is about to leave doesn't actually change how good he is. He was world class a few weeks ago and up there with the likes of Zidane apparently, well those estimations should still be there. One thing we should have known that he is a cnut, problem is he may no longer be OUR cnut soon.

Another Twist As Mum Now Says Ronaldo Will Stay

Cristiano Ronaldo's summer move to Real Madrid is very much in doubt after his mother hinted that he will not leave Old Trafford...

The Portuguese ace has been heavily tipped for a move to the Spanish champions, with Ramón Calderón seeming capable of just everything to lure him into his ranks.

The former Sporting player said today that he would like to play for Real Madrid as long as the Merengues were willing to offer him and Manchester United what has been reported for the past weeks.

However, Ronaldo's mother - who famously backed a move to Madrid in the past - seems to have put an end to this endless saga by affirming that his son will not leave the British outfit.

"He is fine where he is. Only God knows the future, but it's certain that he will continue in Manchester," Dolores Aveiro told TV station TVI.

With Manchester United uninterested in selling their star, who is currently in Switzerland with the Portuguese national squad, chances are that Cristiano Ronaldo will wear the Red Devils' shirt at least one more year.

I remember in 2006, when everyone was saying he would leave similar to how it is now. His mother came out and said he would stay at United.

I have to give it to the caftards though. We're pretty well into this probably more than anyone in the world. That's why this thread has had almost a quarter million hits. If there's anywhere that you can get good reports, observations, ripostes and analysis, it's here. Hidden amongst the muppets of course. With our world wide resources (if you can call caftards that) allows us to quickly jump on any WU and if something really is true you can be sure we'll have verification running into pages.
I think.

Aye it's out of order. Disgraceful stuff.

as well, as much as united do recover from the loss of any player, in my heart i really do hope he stays, even if its for one more season. there will be silver linings if he does go but not enough to substitute for the disappointment of knowing all ronaldo has done for united is in the past. so whether it be for one more season, two more or, if miracles happen, three, the longer we can keep him the better for me. anyway, enough wasting time!

I agree. See you in ten minutes then?

I hope he stays as well because even though he is a cnut he is a joy to watch when he is at his pomp.

Nobody has said that more than me.
However, if he stays, what would you be happy with? One year, see out his contract, stay forever? For me the first one is out. Go now. The second one I could live with and maybe sing a song about him occasionally. The last would make him that United legend we all talk about

Might as well get a post in here. This thread will go down in history. Also let it be noted that Im drunk. Good times.

Cristiano, it seems I'm one of the few here who really grew to like you, not only as the brilliant player you are but also as a person. I love your confidence and swagger. Then there's the things I don't like, the diving, complaining etc.. However, I still feel as strongly about you as I do about the likes of Rooney and Rio. Everybody has a dream. I know that. You could have handled it better, but tbf you only kept the door open. Not as bad as people are making out. The media are making a cock out of your tight little ass, conveying it as a dildo which should be roughly used by a slut, when really it should be gently sucked, licked and caressed. Shit im drunk. Anyway, point being, if you leave I will not hate you. People will call you a disloyal utter cnut. Truth is, nobody has a fecking clue what sort of person you are off the field, and from what I can see, you seem to be a genuinely nice lad. I will never judge you as a person.
At the end of the fecking day, football is only a game. We're lucky to have had a player like you play for us. And all this bollox that United "made" Ronnie, sure its true SAF helped him more than anyone else could have, but it shows that Ronnie worked extremely hard and put in the work himself. He earned being tagged TBPITWOGJSN. And also this shite about him disrespecting us fans. Its his fecking life we're talking about here, I think he has the right to have a dream. All Ronnie has came out and said is that he likes it here and wants to stay. He has constantly praised the fans during his time here. Its absolute bollox that some of you act as though he personally disrespected each and every one of us.

For me he doesn't have to stay forever to be an United legend. Can understand why he would want to play in Madrid and if he stayed till he was 28 and moved there I would call him an United legend and look at him the way Arsenal fans see Henry. If he moved now or next year, I would see him as a great player but not one I could take to heart.

I want some of what you've had.

No problem, I didnt seriously mean you were foolish for comparing 2 young players (I'm not the chief). I just though it was incorrect to compare Ramsey to Ronaldo, they are totally different, I guess it seems you were trying to compare them in terms of stages of footballing development, more than ability and style. If intended that way, fault on my part.

In any case as a general statement on this thread, just because Ronaldo is about to leave doesn't actually change how good he is. You're right, nothing has changed with Ronaldo's ability, and there is nothing general about that, and yes apparently a little gold statue is enough for him to be considered up their with the like's of Zidane for some folk. It's hard because in general the whole concept of a "best player in the world" title is more about the said player's individual brilliance. I don't really take much notice of awards for that reason.

To be honest if he claimed that he would stay one more season but definitely leave after that, i'd rather he leaves now so we can cash in on him at a peak price.

I also dont like the idea of a club paying a near-future Madrid player's wages. Its as if hes on feckin loan with us until 2009/2010.

did you read the top of my post?
Its easily got mate..

I know you disagree etc., but football is just a game. I love United and would do anything for them, but some things in life put football into perspective. Do you think its an easy decision for Ronnie? I'd say its much harder for him, if there even is a decision. I think he'l stay for at least another year. media are really going crazy out of this

OK the Ronometer's been adjusted. I'd go with this right now. Won't change until tomorrow's newsters get online. All the ones that matter now are in bed.
