While it would seem that he wouldn't mind a job where the sun shone a bit more, which is sad, most of the fuss has been stirred up by press stupidity. Even Blatter probably got involved because of the press fuss and we all know what a media whore he is. This in turn gave the press something stupid to ask Ronaldo to which he gave a stupid answer. Result = more press idiocy and specualtion.

This drama will eat itself.

He may stay, he may go, he may stay a bit reluctantly for a season or two before going. That is still the sum of the thing.

I'd rather he stayed and even more I wish he stayed and wanted to stay indefinitley but that is probably unrealistic.

Even all this "he signed a new contract last year" talk is irrelevant. United wanted him tied up in a new contract as much as he did and this wouldn't have stopped them trying to sell him if they wanted just as it won't stop a player looking for a transfer if they want one and Ronaldo has been nowhere near as overt in his desire for a transfer as many other players.

there is some untapped talent out there isn't there.
and i was under the impression that music originality is dying out fast, this is very reassuring!

I typed those lyrics in to google and they came up by one person on one general football forum.

Someone I speak to on another forum went to the game on Saturday and said nothing was sung about Ronaldo

That goal v. Lyon is so under rated, he took out of his feet and rounded the gk faster than any player on the planet, and launched a perfect finish from his left(off) foot, not his best but top drawer all the same

Also his twice taken twice scored penalty to level v. Arsenal was pure class, after that even though Arsenal did have a few chances, it was never in doubt that United would be the one's to get the winner, the Hargreaves winner just highlights the quality of our squad :devil:

Ronaldo should be thankful that he is in such a marvellous team, his game grew too much since the last couple of seasons and he could get even better at this team. There is no denying the lad is fecking quality but you need awesome players to help you shine and that's easy at Utd.

Best player like it or not.
 
Madrid players and their ego will never let Ronaldo be the superstar of the team like our players let him.

I can't see the likes of Sneijder, Robben, nor Robinho letting him take all the headlines while they themselves are all eyeing the FIFA top honour.

they'll all be fighting to take penalties and free kicks. and hell, maybe goal kicks too!

This has gone rather quiet and the reason for that is that:

a)Ronaldo is holed up in his villa and can't say anything

and

b)Real haven't got the money to do the deal at the moment and have told him to shut his trap until they raise finance, if at all.
