How come this is back in the Manchester United forum. Did you take time out from the beach to take this to the high court BahamaRed?
Has anybody even seen a transcript of the interview where he says he wants to go to Madrid if United accept their offer?
"Alex has been on the phone almost non-stop from France where he's on holiday," a source told the News Of The World.
BREAKING NEWS ON SSN:

Man Utd TO UP RONALDO'S WAGES TO £150K A WEEK
EXCLUSIVE UTD UP WAGES TO £150K A WEEK

Manchester United are set to cave in to fend off Real Madrid - and offer Cristiano Ronaldo a staggering £7.2million pay deal that'll see him become the Premier League's top earner on £150,000 a week.
Despite a consistent public stance they will not beforced into boosting the 42-goal Portuguese sensation's £120,000-a-week contract, I understand the money men at United have had a change of heart.
And yesterday they made contact with Ronaldo's agent Jorge Mendes over resolving the crisis over the player's future.
The outcome is certain to be another improved deal - just a year after United re-negotiated a five-year agreement for Ronaldo to stay until 2012.
The new contract will not tie Ronaldo to United for any longer and is seen as a sweetener.
Chief Executive David Gill and the Glazer family who own United have, until now, refused to consider giving Ronaldo a fresh deal on the back of speculation over his future.
Senior United figures believe a new deal is at the root of the current situation and I understand Sir Alex Ferguson, on holiday in the south of France, wants a change of thinking.
He believes another pay hike would be the right move to convince Ronaldo he must stay longer.
Game A highly placed United source said last night: "If Cristiano wants a new contract do you think we will not give him it if it means him staying?
"There is a game being played here and there are other issues on the agenda."
United believe it's in the best interests of Mendes himself for Ronaldo to remain at United for the time being at least.
Although the Lisbonbased adviser would have the biggest ever pay day earned by an agent if Madrid forked out the £75million United would demand, he knows he could lose his client.
The way Madrid operate they would take all of Ronaldo's image rights stripping Mendes of any real power in terms of negotiating on behalf of his player.

For me if he does sign a new contract only one year after, it should include at least one more year maybe two.
Those Carvalho comments are very encouraging.
Whatever about him fielding phone-calls, he will certainly be discussing his future with his team-mates.
And when it comes to team-mates advising him on his future, we've got an ace up our sleeve, who hasn't been mentioned much in this thread.
For me if he does sign a new contract only one year after, it should include at least one more year maybe two.
At the party for winning the PL and season awards, that was free on MUTV, I saw Nani, Anderson, Ferdinand and Ronaldo stood in a circle. It was obvious that Nani was taking the piss out of Rio as he was pulling his top lip down with his fingers as he was talking. Rio leaned down to him, wagging his finger, and pointing outside as if he was threatening him if he didn't stop.
Ronaldo moved across to get in-between them and appeared to warn Nani to shut it . I thought that's a new aspect of Ronaldo - peacemaker. After seeing him again for Portugal yesterday, I do hope this ends as him staying with us for a bit longer yet.
Ronaldo `Refusing To Take Ferguson`s Calls`
Cristiano Ronaldo has reportedly refused to field Sir Alex Ferguson's calls while on international duty with Portugal.
Manchester United deny that Ferguson had made any attempts to cut short his own holiday to travel to Switzerland and speak to the winger, but are yet to comment on the reports of a phone snub.
Ronaldo turned in a fantastic performance as Portugal swept Turkey aside in a comfortable 2-0 win on Saturday night, but it is an indication of how precarious his future at Old Trafford is considered to be that speculation about his future overshadows reports of his on-field exploits on the continent's back pages.
That is perhaps appropriate given the increasing feeling that the capture of the winger represents a marketing exercise by Real Madrid as much as an effort to improve the team, in much the same way as David Beckham's transfer in the summer of 2003.
'The return on the Beckham investment is still being felt now, because of the long-term deals signed during his time at the club,' maintains the Sunday Times, which identifies Real chief executive and former marketing director Jose Angel Sanchez as the man behind the move.
Ronaldo did not speak to the press after his side's victory on Saturday evening, and Luiz Felipe Scolari, the Portugal manager who reportedly advised the winger to join Real Madrid last week, would not comment on the speculation. "He was very motivated, very determined and that's what we expected from him," said the manager, who indicated that Ronaldo should take the captain's armband when he withdrew Nuno Gomes. "He played the way we like and we are satisfied with his display."
Despite some Sunday papers carrying rebuttals from 'sources close to the United manager' which state that he never intended to have a personal meeting with Ronaldo, more indicate that even a phone call has been impossible to arrange.
"Alex has been on the phone almost non-stop from France where he's on holiday," a source told the News Of The World.
"But he can't get him to the phone. He's left message after message but Ronaldo point-blank refuses to speak to him.
"There is a complete breakdown in the relationship now. Fergie is angry that his calls are not getting through and Ronaldo is furious that the Glazers said he could rot in the stands if he decides to go to Madrid."
There was good news for United, though, away from the tabloids.
"I think he is happy in England and he's doing very well," said Ricardo Carvalho, the Chelsea defender who is Ronaldo's international teammate.
"He has a contract with Manchester United, so he has to play in England."

150k a week, christ. I remember in 99 when there was worries Keane would leave because we wouldn't give him 50k, I bet even fringe players are getting that now. Silly money.
I thought they were all laughing at Nani, including Rio.
I just watched a show about him, shows his house and stuff. The guy is obsessed with the "CR7" thing, its all over his furniture and clothes.
Old guy, Mediterranean complexion, kind of a cnutish look on his face, as though he might actually be some sort of cnut? I saw him too.I saw somebody resembling Calderon in the crowd at the Portugal match last night.
I thought they were all laughing at Nani, including Rio.
Anybody know who is the current no. 7 at Real? He may not like having to change number which would surely happen if Ronaldo joins them.
