You really have no idea have you (look up 'FA' on google. No, that only gives football for the first thirty pages. Look up 'fat admirer') Misha is just another skinny, faggot-bait beanpole.)

Wow. This thread has hit a new - and deeply disturbing - low.

It seems we've got ourselves a "feeder". I didn't think they existed, outside documentaries on channel 5.

I just got sick in my mouth a little bit.

"Faggot-bait"...

WTF?

That is what gets me. If he look at it in footballing terms pure and simple, he should stay put. For the past few years English teams have dominated the latter stages of the CL. He is at the English champions and he just won the CL. Why should he leave?

But I am not convinced he is looking at it in those terms.

Shit that's grotesque

People have too much time on their hands, if you ask me.

It has been more RonaldoCafe as of late.

Though it is understandable in many ways.

I wonder if there is a simiarl situation on Arsenal forums with the Hleb situation, which has been lost amdist all this but quite important in its own right.

Despite English domination of thelatter stages of the CL last season and the one before that, and no shortage of coin to throw at players if teams so wished, we are still potentially seeing a relative wave of depatures [not including Xabi Alonso's uncertain future].

Why would he want to stay at a "cheating club" in a "cheating " country

Certainly Hlebs agent has been acting in a similar way to the Ronaldo camp, it's quite pathetic. Arsenal are as classless as they come, but even they deserve better treatment frankly

Of course the fuss over Ronaldo is greater, he's been the best player in the world this last year. He's a European Cup winner. The kind of fee we'd be talking about should he move would be absolutely astronomical, surely smashing the current record of £46million spent by Madrid on Zidane

Oh in understand anad accept the reasons for it perfectly [not suggesting it should be different] but um, for them, it's gonna feel very much similar in fact they cold have a double shock if Adebayor too fancies a trip southof the Alps so to speak.

BRAZILIAN STAR and AC Milan midfielder Ricardo Kaka has emerged unsurprisingly as the player who is the key to the summer's biggest transfer story - the proposed £75 million pound transfer of Portugal ace Cristiano Ronaldo from newly crowned European Champions, Manchester United to Real Madrid.

Following recent developments and conflicting stories from around the world, including statements by the player's mother that Ronaldo is to stay at United, denials by Portugal coach Luis Felipe Scolari that he had encouraged the player to move to Real Madrid, and quotes attributed to the player by Brazillian web site Terra that the player was set on a move to Real, it has emerged that it is Manchester United who have initiated the moves that have left Ronaldo unsure of his future.

Sir Alex Ferguson and chief executive David Gill flew in to Italy last night to discuss a £35 million bid for Brazil attacking midfielder Kaka with the Milan club, whose hand may be forced over their failure to qualify for next season's Champions League, and the player's apparent welcoming of United's interest in him.

United believe that the signing of Kaka and potentially, one of their top striking targets, which include, amongst others, Lyon's French international Karim Benzema, Ajax goal-poacher Klaas-Jan Huntelaar, Sevilla's temperamental Brazillian Luis Fabiano, and want-away Tottenham Hotspur star Dimitar Berbatov will provide a greater balance to the star-studded United team, despite Ronaldo's heroic 42 goals in the recently concluded season.

To finance the moves for Kaka and a new striker, it was revealed that United's commencement of talks with AC Milan left Ronaldo and his advisors themselves uncertain as to the Portuguese wing wizard's standing in the team. News of United's interest in Kaka reached Ronaldo last week, prompting responses from Ronaldo that "it was not his decision", and he would move to Real if "they paid the amount they are saying to Manchester United". Indeed, while a forward line of Kaka, Ronaldo and a new striker, together with current United front men Wayne Rooney and Carlos Tevez would provide United with the best strike force in Europe, Ronaldo is seen as the player most likely to be sold, given the current demand for the services of a player currently recognised as the world's best player.

Indeed, should the move for Kaka be successful, United will allow Ronaldo to leave to Real, despite Sir Alex Ferguson's recent comments that Ronaldo would not be moving to Madrid. Ferguson knows that Madrid are interested in his prized asset, and that the player would not be opposed to wearing the white of Los Meringues.

While Ronaldo has banned all talk about his future until after the European Championships in Austria and Switzerland, it appears that his move to Madrid and United's sensational signing of Kaka may reach a conclusion sooner rather than later.

Its really getting mad now

I hope I don't get banned for this, but what the hell, I'm sick of this Ronaldo shit so i'm making up my own

HE IS NOT GOING.

SKYSPORTSNEWS just showed the interview with his mum - she categorically said that he was staying at Utd. Translated, but very weighty. You are living on scraps now fellas.

Calderon and the newspapers have done a brilliant job of having you all on, Fergie always had control of this one and you should be ashamed of your wavering confidence in all the all-knowing master of football.

I am putting my neck out a little here, but such is my confidence...

Messi on his own leaves us where we were with Ron, minus some of his striker ish abilities. And we need a CF regardless of all that anyways. Ergo, Eto'o and Messi would complete us.

Various intriguing/fabricated bits from the Daily Mail

Cristiano Ronaldo risks blowing a £25million jackpot with sponsor Nike if he moves to Real Madrid this summer.
Sportsmail can reveal that Manchester United, who will report Real to FIFA next week for their public pursuit of Ronaldo, are working on a complicated image rights deal with the club's kit manufacturer for a 'CR7' range in an attempt to appease the winger.

Michael Jordan was the first high-profile name to make a fortune this way when he launched his range and Tiger Woods has a 10-year deal with Nike worth £50m.
Ronaldo tastes Champions League glory with United - but if he moves to Madrid he faces losing £25m
United's non- executive director Bryan Glazer, who was closely involved with the deal for shirt sponsor AIG, is in negotiations with Nike over a contract that could be worth another £100,000 a week to the Portugal winger.

The contract is expected to run concurrent with his existing £120,000-a-week package at Old Trafford and will effectively top the £200,000 a week on offer at the Bernabeu.

Ronaldo, who has changed his signature simply to 'CR7', can market baseball caps, T-shirts and shorts around the world to capitalise on his growing status.

Nike, who already have an endorsement contract with Ronaldo, are keen to exploit his name but are reluctant to launch the range if he moves to 'an adidas club' such as Real.

United remain resolute in their desire to keep the Portugal winger and sources at Old Trafford confirmed they will report Real to FIFA after the Spanish club's president, Ramon Calderon, made yet another declaration of intent yesterday.

United had warned Madrid they would act if they did not stop their pursuit of the 23-year-old and were incensed when Calderon responded to a suggestion from Ronaldo that he was ready to leave United.

Calderon said: 'For Madrid, it is an honour to know that a player like him thinks that playing at Real Madrid would be good. We are proud to know that he would like to be with us.'

United are expected to make their complaint on Monday, bringing the relationship between the two super powers to an all-time low.

FIFA must then decide whether Real have been guilty of making an illegal approach to Ronaldo.

If they do, a fine is the only likely punishment, but United have decided to act on a point of principle.

United are furious Calderon has effectively ignored two attempts - one public and one private - to shut him up and chief executive David Gill has also reacted angrily to suggestions that Ronaldo may be able to railroad the Barclays Premier League champions into giving him a new contract.

It is understood Gill turned the air blue yesterday when he heard that Ronaldo's stance was being viewed in some quarters as an elaborate negotiating tactic.

United even called Sky Sports News to stop them perpetuating the rumour and it is clear Ronaldo is going to have to submit a transfer request or accept he must stay at the club.

I like us calling SSN.

"Hello Sky? Can you stop going on about it. Not our fault England couldn't qualify for Euro 2008, none of our players were involved in the home defeat to Croatia"

We are knowingly creating a Beckham MkII here, well it coudl well be bigger than Becks in some ways.

Suppose we must make of it what wd can, not that i'll be all decked out in the CR7 range. We'll cut him loose when it suits us i should imagine.

Quite right that Ronaldo will have to request the transfer, why shoudl we bail him out.
