All Roads Lead to Rome - ALL TRAVEL/TICKET INFO FOR FINAL HERE

We're in Curva Nord,

Anybody else in section 49B?

TO are now letting people know about sections

Has anyone filled in the travel report yet?

Was it just me who didn't actually get asked to fill in any travel details?!?!

Filled ours in last night.

Nobody got told personally, it was just on the application information page

But did you fill in all your travel details i.e flights, hotel accomodation?

I just filled it in, but it only asked for a few personal details then it said I was done, which has confused me

Ok I rang up the ticket office, and yeh that's all they're after. Bit of a misnomer calling it a travel report this time around eh!

Indeed. They asked me if I'd filled out the form when I'd asked about sections, so I asked if it was meant to be short and she told me yes

any lads going to fergie fields on weds before the match?

Can you pay at the gate for this or do you have to buy the passes online?

I wont get to Rome until about 1pm and do fancy this but could only see the 2 day pass on the website.

good question that. Whats everyone got planned the Rome like they say is going to be dry, so be interesting to see what ppl have got planned and where they're going before the match..

Cant wait for week Tuesday now.

how did that ballot work?

Thought i had my ticket in teh bag but found out today that we missed out.

I'm an ST holder but applied through an exec. mate who applied for a group of us, being exec. we thought it would be an easy ride. somehow his application was unsuccesful- any ideas how that could happen and ST holders with no euro aways are getting them?

Would be interested if someone could explain the process and how that might have happened...

cheers

The execs had to renew their season tickets by last Sunday to have a guaranteed ticket.

ah right, if they didn't renew were they put on a level playing field with the ST holders ie. credits?

Truly gutted mate i can tell you, doesn't help that i seem to be the only one on here that applied (via someone else admittedly) and was dissapointed..!

Got flights paid for too, just contemplating whether its worth an eight hour drive via. Bologna to watch the game at Fergiefields...

I personally think the execs should be put in the loyalty pot like every one else. Asking for money for next seasons tickets even before the present season has finished as a sweetener to be guaranteed a ticket for the final is diabolical.

Couldn't agree with you more, just didn't think they were and thought I'd take advantage of that...

It appears given my predicament that if they didn't renew then they were indeed "put in the pot"...that'll teach me to try and cut corners

Got two last week for 175 Quid each, lads at home have bought four at 250 quid on B Mkt as a banker at not getting any through United

175? How did you manage that? That's almost face value.

Just picked up my ticket this morning.....here is a little bit of info that may be of help.

1. I didn't complete the travel details on-line as I forgot but the girl at the ticket office did it for me there and then so it seems if you didn't do it before 8.00am on Sunday morning it isn't a problem.

2. You can only collect your ticket or ticket(s) for up to four people if you have everyone's passport. The ticket office are NOT releasing tickets without an accompanying passport. There are signs up everywhere. Don't even try blagging it....loads of people were turned away.

3. The ticket is an electronic variety and it states clearly on the related information pack that you will have to show your ticket and passport at the turnstile to get entry. This is bad news for anyone thinking of buying from a tout or a friend as the name on the ticket will not match your passport. You may well not be able to get in. In fact, on the literature it mentions this on about three separate occasions.

Therefore if you were unsuccessful in the ballot and you are planning to go, I wouldn't risk paying out on a ticket from a tout or a friend. Your name will 100% NOT MATCH that on the ticket and they plan to stop you getting in.

Whether or not they actually police this is another matter.

4. The ticket also doubles as a transport card giving you free transport on buses and trains around the city all day on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. This does not include airport transfers. The card also gives you free access into two Museums....Musei Capitolini and the Ara Pacis.

5. UEFA have organised a Champions Festival which is a 5-day Football Festival full of games, entertainment and activities for five days in and around the Coliseum.

6. You cannot change any tickets as the ticket office. All tickets have been allocated and what you have been assigned is what you have to take.

7. Tickets can be collected up to next Tuesday the 26th May.

Hope this helps

Just rang the ticket office about returns, got a chap who was fair enough and wasnt giving me the company bullshit, not one ticket has been returned and it aint looking good.Did tell me that plans are afloat in Rome however for a big screen for ticketless fans which I appreciated

Try expedia.co.uk. We found a decent one near the main train station. Only 40 quid a head.....
