I won't be getting a ticket, but that isn't dampening my spirits! It'll be a great trip regardless, may wander over to that Fergie's fields for the game.

Yeah, came up trumps in the UEFA ballot a while back. Have known I have had these since the round about the first leg of the Inter game, so been praying to God that we managed to steer ourselves through.
Was my first time applying in that ballot, doubt I`ll ever be as lucky again.
How does this work? Do any Exec's that apply get tickets regardless of away applications, then ST holders based on number of away applications?
Where is the best place to meet up for a drink before the game? Where are most United fans going to be gathering?

Congrats to all who have been succesful,but this thread is getting hard for us ticketless beings to read.Found out today that a person I know has 3 tickets which he and his family won in the uefa ballot,my heart leapt when he offered them to me wait for it,at £1000 a ticket,said I couldnt really blame him for wanting to make some money out of them,what a wanker and he was not well pleased when I told him what he was.I honestly felt like hitting the tosser.Ah well back to the drawing board

As I said I am delighted for all on here who got them and it is fully deserved,I can understand the clubs criteria for giving them out the way they did,the people who got them deserve them.It is as you the touts that anger me and I hope that on principle nobody pays the silly money they are asking but of course there will be.I have got tickets for alot of big sporting events in my time for people and never charged one cent over face.I have even got Tyrone men tickets for the all Ireland final at face which red hand devil will confer is like a Manchester United fan getting a Liverpool fan a Champions League ticket

I just went online and discovered I have been issued with a ticket for the Final.
I applied for one Euro away (Arsenal - but so did 17,000 others) so they are down to issuing tickets for one credit.
Then I phoned my mate who didn't apply for any Euro away but is also a ST Holder and was in the automatic cup scheme.
He looked online and has also been successful.
So in summary, it appears that if you applied for a Euro away you are guaranteed a ticket. And if you are a ST holder who is in the Cup scheme then you also have a good chance of getting a ticket.
Good news for most ST Holders i guess.

In all honestly I don't think non STH deserves tickets. There is a 19,500 allocation and about 40,000 odd STHs?
I don't have a season ticket and I am never ever going to pay a tout so I'll just have to accept I'm not going. It's the people that go to the 'little' games that deserve to go these big ones. There's no room for people just jumping on the bandwagon as soon as we get to a final/

The number of season ticket holders are more than 40,000, more nearer to 55,000 mark. So there will many who will be disappointed.

Exactly. UEFA are cnuts for doing their own ballot. Most of them are just touted on.

I am but opted out of Carling Cup since I live in Ireland,hence I was not allowed in ballot

I know an Arsenal fan that got two tickets through the UEFA ballot like myself, and I asked him if they didnt get there could I buy them off him as I would clearly know a few lads who would have them. He agreed, and to sell at face value.
After we tanked them in the semis, cnut stuck them on Ebay and sold them to some south korean for USD 3,000. Was not impressed in the slighest.

Keep checking with the TO, Last year I got Moscow tickets via returns, you could also do it
I threw five tickets away in Moscow.
To be fair, returns last year were mostly due to travel, hotel issues.

It should be stopped. I just don’t understand why UEFA give them out in a ballot - why not just give them to fans of the clubs who are there? Its inevitable that they end up on the black market.

I have a catch 22 for the enxt day though. If we win the final I'm working, If we lose I'm not. So I can't celebrate in style, I can only drown my sorrows.

Is the Palace gonna be the best venue for this then? Sounds like it's going to be spread across 6 venues, I wouldn't know which one to choose. I'd have to take into account there will be a lady in attendance as well so I don't think she'd be best pleased with a pint in the face!

I can only go on what my experience was and for me it was a top night in a decent venue. The only downside though is a lack of toilet, you'll end up having to use the ladies.....

I reckon Sam Platt's will be the best venue if we win because you'll be at OT within minutes.
