Alexis Sanchez | Udinese: No Deal Yet

Our only hope is that Barca pull out of the deal and pursue Fabregas/Rossi instead.

You're just pissing pertol on our fire of sadness

Yes I agree Sorry.

Not a done deal yet. We don't know that Udinese will accept their offer. He could stay another season. Perhaps he'll be convinced that he'll only be Messi's understudy and that United is the best place for him (and we've offered more!).

This could be complete bull - some writer having his day in the sun.

We don't know!

I hold out hope in that if the Barcelona offer was there then surely he would've signed by now had it been his first choice. I feel we may get lucky if a deal between the 2 clubs cannot be reached. I strongly believe that we would be his 2nd choice.

Personal terms agreed between player and Barcelona.

No agreement reached between Udinese and Barcelona as Barcelona want to top up deal with players.

Sanchez will only go to Barca in current situation if he forces deal through.

That seems like a plausible explanation to me.

We sign Sanchez - moaning we paid too much, he's shite, Chilean and will move to Spain after three seasons at United.

We don't sign Sanchez - moaning he's exactly the player we need, famous names in the world don't wanna come to United, Barcelona is even stronger now and we'll probably start new season with shite Young.

Sometimes I'd love to guess what the Caf really think about some transfer, but in the world full of muppets it's not easy.

This saga is only stalling because Barca do not that the cash no ?

Never mind that... They'd have to get rid of Afellay and Jeffran to if they go for Sanchez so taking that both of them are still at Barca, they do not need Sanchez yet.

In my totally honest opinion, I'm pretty sure Pep is already content with his young Pedro who worked up the ranks to be where he is...

Barca will want Cesc back to either provide cover for Xavi and to possibly succeed him in the future.

They'll go for Cesc first, Sanchez will only be a priority if their willing to part with either Villa/Pedro...

Just my honest thought about Barca's transfer policies, they just want Cesc on the cheap and are being linked with Sanchez while they try to offload their other stars.

We'll see the deal go throught sooner if they can get a hefty fee for Bojan, but no one's biting them yet.

Muppets make the world a better place ... Peace

pretty sure nobody has said anything like that. stop trying to stir nonsense.

feck the transfer market and off season, all this is really shit and it will get us to nowhere. I mean all this tabloid rubbish is getting to me and am really irritated. I wont be checking the transfer forum till the season starts. feck off muppetry

Wait for the news he's signed for Barcelona and you'll see what I'm talking about.

barcastuff Barcelona's "2M+1.5M variables" bid for Hercules player Kiko Femenia (20) has been accepted. Last issue left is the way of paying. [sport]

Just posted this to show that all he tweets is about rumours related to Barca picked up from various places. I wouldn't believe his "Canal13" Tweet about Sanchez signing on Monday.

Yep. Found this on a rumours site:

Javier Pastore was meant to be signing for United a couple of months ago according to Argentinean Radio. Don't believe everything you hear on Canal 13.

The move to Barca might not be official but I think it is fair to say Sanchez would like a move to Barcelona and eventually a deal will be reached between the clubs.

The only realistic chance we have of signing him is if Barcelona make it clear they have other targets and cannot afford to sign Sanchez.

There are no real facts to this opinion but I still agree. We seem to miss out on our targets more than we get them... Which shouldn't be the case.

No superstar signing this summer I guess...

never have high hopes we sign any big-names players, but its still a bit disturbing we still can't find any CM purchase yet....

Not only that, we haven't really been linked heavily with many. You'd have thought that this Summer papers would be linking us to almost anyone who plays anywhere near that area of the pitch.

Its too quiet for my liking.

They were an 'anyone but Bendtner' moment away from going out in the Quarters, hardly left a trail of destruction in their path did they?

great teams can be lucky too...the fact is when we play barca, they're dominating play and it's very difficult to predict how many they'll win because it's doubtful (ronaldo aside) anyone's had a messi before...They have an advantage in that their league is just them and Madrid basically..there's no competition really. The fact they don't have a big squad speaks volumes.

I'd rather they keep it that way so I hope he turns them down :(

Yeah, apparently Barca are going to win every single trophy for the next 5 seasons. Because football works like that.

The reality is no one knows, but if you would pick a team who would you pick? Madrid did it. Why not Barcelona? Barcelona have not only a player who is not human but they have the continuity that Sir Alex speaks about. You read so much bullshit about Barcelona. The fact is the biggest load of bullshit is people who are too dismissive to be humble. No one really knows, the only thing we do know is Barcelona are the stronger first 11 in world football (probably) and Alexis Sanchez won't hurt their bench ..

I think some people underestimate how much work we have to do to catch them. It's not just a player here or there. It's an attitude. We're not the best. Lets face it. I wouldn't put anything past them at this moment in time.

Christ, I bet some people on here were sucking Arsenals cock so much back in 2004 that they thought they would win every title for many years to come. But players get injured. They lose form. The 'invincibles' of today are the crisis team of tomorrow. That's football. Barca will have their problems in the future. Those that see no chance for United in the CL are not worthy of calling themselves United fans.

No offence but how can you compare Arsenal in 2004 to Barcelonas team? Arsenal have really disappointed in general in Europe baring the odd campaign here and there. I think you'll find, in 2004 they didn't win the champions league and have no history in the competition baring a final.

Their team broke up. Barcelona's isn't breaking up anytime soon. They might pick up an injury here and there but look at the size of their squad. It's small for a reason. They can get away with a small squad and when you keep adding to it, it's harder for everyone else.

Your last point is nonsense. It's being realistic. If we want to challenge Barcelona, we have to either become a better counter attacking team or we have to meet them head on and right now we don't have a midfield to do either.

How do you stop Messi? Even if we could, how can the rest of Europe? History is made. It's not just something in the past. They are a very real threat and you using what's happened in the past, is your problem.

Madrid in the 50's did it. The competition wasn't so hot but there's no doubt they have our number for starters.

And somehow Hercules beat this team you are holding up as being invincible.

How did that happen?

fecking hell. You gonna drink whiskey in some run down cafe to console yourself then eh?

It wont be the end of the world.

I dont know how some people on this site make it through the day! They've obviously got nothing much to really worry about in their lives.

what did it cost them? you don't get it. No ones saying they will. However they have everything about them to and it has been done before even if the game was different then. Anyone can lose, how you can use one game to back up your points dumb.

In 99, let me tell you something. We were LUCKY but does that mean we weren't worthy? So they lost a game? What exactly did it cost them? The league? Europe?...
