Alexis Sanchez | Udinese: No Deal Yet

Good. Hopefully United enjoyed the whole Sanchez crap as a not planned smokescreen (I don't honestly believe clubs use them) while we work behind the scenes on getting the midfield player who can make a huge difference for us, rather than starting an un-needed reshuffle on the wings.

I just wish he would hurry up and sign for someone...

I would agree with this as I'm seriously bored with all of this now, but all the hype will just move onto a new player. It'll be the same drama, just a different name being thrown about.

Adz77 Struggle to believe Sanchez-Barca move this week, Chile face Estonia Sunday in Chile & then Paraguay away mid-week, surely wait until after?

Still don't make sense, a week ago he was favourite to join City, and then a few days ago it was us and this morning back to city and now Barca....

Theres still hope, in all honesty this transfer will probaly go on another month, I'd expect Modric's future to be finalised before Sanchez.

Stop quoting random feckers from Twitter in the normal transfer threads, you have the Twitter Spaculation thread for that. Although tweets by random tossers with just 10 followers and no previous ITK record should really not even be posted in the spaculation thread.

This.

According to speculation, yes. In fairness, City were always going to offer the most, and we could have offered as little as an extra grand in wages to Barcelona for all we know.

I bet they will be a further twist tomorrow, so until i hear something concrete from the player or the club i'm not going to believe some of the rumours in particular from twitter.

The source of these latest barca on monday rumours comes from journalists, who do work for canal 13 via twitter. So I'm not holding much stock by it as Journalists have been spreading just as much shite as anyone else in the twitter world.

Edit: in fact ignore that too, the site which has ran the story has taken the story from Barcastuff twitter account, a ITK Barca fan. Frigging twitter!

The cycle will start over again and he'll be a City player tomorrow, followed by being on his way to United the following day.

So according to Rossi's agent Barcelona had a bid rejected and they are negotiating with Villarreal. The article on Sky also says Villarreal value Rossi at £26 million although I don't know how accurate that is. Will be interesting to see if they can afford both and if not which player they will favour.

Udinese attacker Alexis Sanchez (22) will on Monday travel to Barcelona to sign his contract as new Barcelona player. [canal 13]

This guy is rarely wrong.

We were never gonna sign him with barca around.Sadly now we are gonna end up with ashley young,i would rather have prefer cleverley given a chance than buying another squad player..

How often is he right?

I mean Villa, Zlatan and Alves was a no brainer so there is no history to rely on. But anyway. Good call.

feck you Barcelona :( Really would have liked us to sign the lad. Not too fussed about Modric but he would have been great.

Well at least another reason to dislike them.

This guy is like the BBC Gossip column. He compiles every rumor involving Barca from any radio show/tabloid etc

Personal terms agreed between player and Barcelona.

No agreement reached between Udinese and Barcelona as Barcelona want to top up deal with players.

Sanchez will only go to Barca in current situation if he forces deal through.

..

Which is a bit like gambling in an LA casino...and coming home with a goldfish you won at the fair.

I agree to be honest.

I'd love for us to sign him, but he seems the rare type of player who COULD take a team to the next level, so it's important they don't get him.

Honestly I've barely seen any of Sanchez but the hype seems to suggest he is of that sort of ability. So yeah, next best case scenario apart from moving to us would be anywhere away from our rivals.
