So now Arsenals chairman has said that Barcelona have made contact over a possible move for Fabergas. Like others have said I can't see them buying all three so who will they focus their energy on? Hopefully they'll focus on Rossi and Fabergas and leave Sanchez with one less decision to make.
Apparently there was a crisis last season when we won the league and a crisis 09/10 when we lost it by one point.

You missed the point i think FM. Far be it for me to speak for others but i believe he was lightheartedly suggesting a potential muppet crisis within the transfer forum.
It depends though. I think you are right in regards to the premiership. The champions league, we need a miracle at the minute. All these names banded about and I quite liked Tiote when I say him. I think we are definitely soft in the centre.

I was referring to a muppet crisis. Personally, there was a time when I used to doubt Fergie's decisions in the transfer market....but not anymore. He proved us wrong too many times. Fergie may not be perfect but is more right than wrong than anyone else in the longer term.

I'm not sure if we missed out on the player, it would be because we didn't want him. That's the only argument I could make. We've obviously looked at him. I'm surprised with all these rumours we've not been linked back to Costa. The media is a curious thing. But yeah we'll have a number of possibilities I'm sure

I agree, those on here who are dismissing Sanchez by saying we don't need him, or he doesn't fit our current system, are forgetting one vital point.
If as is suggested we are in for Sanchez, then SAF obviously believes we need him, and therefore if we do sign him, the dynamics of the team and how SAF chooses to set us up could also change dramatically from what we had last year.
So i don't go along with those who dismiss certain players based on nothing except their own preconceptions. Speculation is one thing, but i have seen outright dismissal from some on here, and then stated as though it is fact!
I have seen it with Young and now Sanchez. When will people learn that only one man knows what players we need, and how best to play them?

Would not surprise me. Many of the players that muppets get excited about are not even among our real targets. Football agents and selling clubs just make up United interest to build up the market.
Muppets always take newspaper gossip as gospel. But it's just speculation and propaganda mostly.

If we don't get him, it don't mean we weren't in for him/interested....people use this shite to suit some kind of agenda/like it proves something but it don't. Sometimes you miss out on targets. It's that simple. Some players are more high profile and therefore gather more media attention. We just have to accept, we don't know our targets and obviously there will be a number of them. However, as people we can say, I think he's a good player..
