Alexis Sanchez | Udinese: No Deal Yet

Isn't it true that Nani, Valencia and Sanchez are best when they play RM?
Isn't it true that Young is best when he play LM?
In what way is a possible signing of Young in conflict with a possible signing of Sanchez?
Is it not rather so that Sanchez may conflict with Nani / Valencia? (Unless he is thought of as our future AM)

Is there something I have misunderstood?

Whats the latest gents? even the made up shite, Im bored!

Peterborough United have confirmed that striker Craig Mackail-Smith is holding talks with three clubs this week.

Just call me your go to guy for the important breaking transfer stories.

Could it be the case that we're aiming on other Udinese talent? Inler is good and he's a central midfielder.

And well.....Nani. Both have probably had their best seasons, so their prices are at their peak I guess.

Worst post I've seen in this thread for quite a while.

Yeah a 24 year old winger who has gotten better and better in the last 18 months has already had his best season. Completely logical. And he definitely should be 4th choice because even though he's a better player than Young, Park and Valencia he just won't be as good anymore, he's too old, past it. No pace anymore.

Isn't it true that Nani, Valencia and Sanchez are best when they play RM??

No, Sanchez is best behind a striker.

As an AM. Well, then he is versatile because he is a hell of a RM also!
I still don't see how this conflicts with the possible signing of Young though?

Yeah a 24 year old winger who has gotten better and better in the last 18 months has already had his best sense. Completely logical. And he definitely should be 4th choice because even though he's a better player than Young, Park and Valencia he just won't be as good anymore, he's too old, past it. No pace anymore.

Why do you get so emotional and defensive every time Nani is mentioned? It's very strange. He's just one of many footballers at the club.

He has just completed his best season at the club so far. That's a fact.

Sanchez is clearly a top notch player. Bags of skill power n pace so obviously any team would love to have him....... there's a but coming eh..... unless Nani is on his way out :nervous: why do we need another winger?? Shouldnt we be sorting out the center of midfield ???

Agree. I am really conserned

another whos changing what I said. but kewl story bro. it's clearly not illogical to think that could probably be his best season in the premiership either considering he clearly doesn't have the same natural talent as ronaldo, so having another near 30 goals+assist season won't be easy, but build yourself up either way.

Could be Berbatov on the way out to make way for Sanchez.

Valencia--CM--CM--Nani
----------Sanchez
----------Rooney

Young as backup for 3 positions in that formation, Hernandez first choice replacement for Rooney, if Rooney is rested or moved back.

Sanchez played as a second striker for much of last season, so that has to be taken into account. He could also play up top as part of a front 3 with Rooney and Hernandez, or Rooney and Nani.

That being said though, I do think it would be very odd to sign Sanchez and Young, without selling a winger. I would also still think we would need a central midfielder but would worry signing Young and Sanchez (as well as Jones and De Gea) would mean a central midfield signing would be beyond us in terms of cash, though we could raise over 40 million in sales if we wanted to (Berbatov and Nani sold in addition to players already on their way out)

I really want this transfer to happen but not at the expense of Nani. Why replace a proven top class premiership winger.

We are United for god sake, we can accommodate more than one star player.

Because they play in the exact same positions and we already have the best 2 wingers in the PL in Nani and Valencia. Not to mention Park.

Sorry for being stupid, but
Can you please specify which positions you are talking about?

Emotional? You can read peoples thoughts and feelings from an internet forum? Wow, impressive.

I'm commenting because it's a stupid thing to say. I'd still say the same thing to him if it was about Hernandez, Smalling, Valencia, whomever had a good season and has many years left in them.

"So far". That wasn't Zen's point, he said it was the best season he was likely to EVER have for us, not his best season so far. Do you argue that the logic behind this is just daft?

Have to agree with what you're saying. Been tempted to post a 'Do Not Want' image on here to see what reaction it would cause. I wouldn't be fussed if the deal fell flat on it's face, the only thing that would bother me is if Citeh signed him.

We've got bigger problems to deal with & have plenty of talented wingers to suffice at the moment. Concentrate on the weak points instead of blowing a huge amount on another #10 / winger.

Agree. I am really conserned

IF sanchez was coming and we were forced to sell any of our wingers, then my order of selling would be Scrap the deal with Young>Valencia>Nani

If there someone you should be concerned for it should be young, who could have his dream move collapse because of the availability of a player we've coveted for quite some while.

Nani would be the last winger we sell in team regardless of who we get in. His two footedness makes him our best winger on team as of this moment. Why would he be sold ahead of valencia? . That said, i'd rather we not sell valencia or nani. And if push comes to shove, we scrap the young deal!

I'm sick of twitter. "Gill was in italy yesterday night, was in spain yesterday night, was in mars yesterday night etc". Does he have the gift of ubiquity or what?

Allforone, I've decided you're responsible for this transfer.

If he doesn't come, it's your fault.

I don't think we will sell Nani unless he insists on it, and only if we get ourselves a proper replacement. A replacement who can play both AM and RM possibly?

We still need Young as a replavement on the left IMO.

I doubt it. I can't see us passing up the opportunity of signing a player of Sanchez's calibre after looking at him for years if we can actually get him. If we ever looked at Inler it would be as an addition to bagging a Sanchez.

Gill was in Spain (Barcelona) yesterday. It the base of the Pozzo families business.

 Me!? what did i do? blame Gambit hes chief transfer muppet around here i just sponge info off other forums.
As the Muppet King I take full responsibility. I may also command both your heads for pennance though. R_Nick for his Bullshit! AFO for daring to mention trading the One! Yeah I saw that.

Was watching Youtube clips of him and his style of play reminds me of a young C Ronaldo. Alot of stepovers, trying to beat the man, a ball hog. His play seems too unpredictable (and that's a bad thing) as the players around him don't know when he will pass. Actually, the passes he creates for his team mates aren't that great either.

In addition, looking at his hair and diamond earrings and I think this guy is pretty vain and arrogant. Looks like a trouble maker. Sooner or later he will cry out for Barcelona or Real.
