He is more versatile than Pedro I reckon but on the other hand Pedro is an academy product of theirs and is held in very high regards.
I thought Pedro was bought when he was 17/18.

Hasn't stopped them winning two CL titles and La Liga three consecutive years.

They end the cover and competition for Messi, Villa and Pedro. Not sure why Barcelona would want to sign him AND Rossi.
They end the cover and competition for Messi, Villa and Pedro.
Affelay alone is not enough. Jeffren and Bojan are a major drop in quality in comparison Villa and Pedro. Getting in Rossi and Sanchez world solve that problem for Barca know they won't escape for another season with a thin squad, with what Jose is doing at Real.
That is why I said cover and competition. Sanchez if he ever signs for Barca will be first choice I'm sure.Sanchez deserves more than being just cover.
But surely none of them would be 100% starters in that team and spending 30-40Mil on both of these players would be quite expensive for Barcelona.
Don't see the problem at all myself, we regularly leave out of the first XI at least a £100m of talent every match. Barca have been lucky with a lack of injuries to their first XI but if they had to go through a period of a few injuries, their lack of strength in depth would be exposed.
According to some spanish journalists: Personal terms agreed between Barca and him, but a agreement between both clubs is still to negotiate.
come again?!
Actually, Udinese's president Franco Soldati said that.
Manchester United and Manchester City target Alexis Sanchez has agreed personal terms with Barcelona - Udinese president - Goal.com
He mentioned Inter and Juventus as his other suitors. The Caf's Sanchezmania will probably die at last.
Actually the owner of Udinese has said that the reports saying that deal between Sanchez and Barcelona has been completed are false.
Udinese have released a statement insisting “there is no agreement with Barcelona for Alexis Sanchez, nor are any meetings planned.”
President Franco Soldati was quoted as saying Sanchez already agreed terms with the Blaugrana for a summer switch, which would be imminent.
“With regards to the statements attributed to be about a supposed transfer of Sanchez to FC Barcelona, I wish to point out these are without foundation,” wrote Soldati on the official club website.
“There is no agreement between Udinese and Barcelona for the sale of this player. It should also be noted no meetings are planned between the two clubs to discuss any such transfer.”
