Also nobody expects us to sign Sanchez or Pastore, but the Sanchez transfer is something that United have been confirmed with being involved in. No, he said he was already looking at tying up deals for maybe three players but that wasn't him saying he's signing 3 no matter what, nor did it mean that once he gets 3 he's going to suddenly decide he's absolutely buying no more. He was also liquored up at the time. And that was the only time he said it.
Players change from being available or unavailable throughout the summer, if there's an opportunity for a player he likes he'll go for him even if he's already bought three - e.g. Varane, Young and De Gea are signed and Sneijder makes it known he would like to move - or if he's only been able to bring in two players and there isn't an opportunity to buy anyone else he likes he'll wait until that opportunity arises later.
The people who come into the transfer forums saying who we won't buy and talking with such certainty about how much we can't afford and who won't come to us are just as bad as those who believe we're going to buy multiple big names or a particular star name that we absolutely have to buy. Truth is no-one has a clue. God knows why just the latter are seen as 'muppets' and not the former as well.

Agreed with Brwned there. There are some people here who just like to come into transfer threads and say some thing like this "We're not going X. You all are fecking muppets". Honestly speaking these people should be banned from the transfer forum, as they fail to realize that the transfer forum is basically for speculation and muppetry, it's when the transfer muppetry goes out of transfer forum, then it's a problem.
