Alexis Sanchez | Udinese: No Deal Yet

He did feature in the starting line-up though, and only pulled out close to kick-off.

The commentators on my stream nearly had a breakdown when they saw him walk right past them 5 minutes into the first half.

Id love us to sign him, but it wont happen.

Still we can dream:

Valencia - Sanchez - Nani

..............Rooney

That would rival Barcelonas front line it really would.

Yep no doubt that lineup could match Barca's

Messi-----Xavi-----Iniesta

-----------Villa

What did you eat?

Except for the fact that Barca doesn't lineup like that.

I know but Iniesta is more than capable of playing on the left and he has done it before. If he is being hypothetical, I can't be?

My issue was with not Iniesta but with Xavi's positioning. He plays in a much deeper role in Barca's setup.

So you are telling me he has never played in that position before and what part of being hypothetical did you not understand?

But Alfo didn't compared our front four(with Sanchez) with RDCR07's Hypothetical Barca front line, he compared it with the actual front line that Barcelona use in most of their matches.

Well yes in big matches with Tony V and Valencia flanking Rooney in 4-5-1.

Two Antonio's? is one left footed? :p ;)

Looking at Allforone's line-up I am guessing he is putting it against:

Mess- - Iniesta - Pedro

...........Rooney

Except for the fact that Barca doesn't lineup like that.

2 Years ago when they still had Henry, Barca played like that, Iniesta and Henry were swapping positions, not to mention they put Keita in the mix.

Now they've found Iniesta's best position which is behind the hole and they never played Iniesta there since.

Anyhow, Rooney behind the hole with Chicha Spearheading is potentially good... I'd like to keep it this way for now..

Tony V. and Nani flanking has moved our play to another dimension... Now if we can change Gibson ( vs Fulham ) for a player who had potential to make it in the starting 11, then we'll be all set imo.

Gibson as wishful as I am will not make it with his current play, he doesn't demand the ball enough, isn't available enough and is caught walking too much for a CM... He won't shine and he'll just fade if he keeps his current play which is no better than a Denilson or Mikel...

Gibson will be a squad player and if he decides to move, then all the credit to him for doing his best.

Very close to joining City in a 35 Million Pound deal(which would rise to 44 Million Pound) according to Telegraph.

Didn't they have

Toure--------------Keita/Busquets

Xavi

Messi-------------Iniesta

Eto

Sort of, but usually Yaya didn't play the same time Busquets did and they'd play Marquez sometimes...

I've seen Iniesta/Keita/Henry play on the left, the middle was a swap between Xavi/Iniesta/Busquets with Yaya and Keita called upon.... They really rotated a lot but I've seen Iniesta come on for Henry on the left quite a few times ( especially when he was out injured and was gaining back match fitness )

City are absolutely pathetic. Worthless garbage club. I hope they never make it in the CL even with all their purchases.

Tevez is going in the summer so buying Sanchez makes sense.

So a load of absolute bollocks then. He wouldn't sign with City if they don't get into the CL. I'd say he's going to Inter.

It is not bollocks. He has been linked with them for sometime now. They sometimes just buy so their opponents don't get the player. If this lad comes to United, he will wreck havoc in the Premier League.

Where the hell are City going to fit him? Too much money and just buying for the sake of it, or rather stop him from going to your rivals

So they could lineup something like...

Johnson---Silva---Sanchez
----------Dzeko----------

???

Of course they would need to bring in a manager with balls.

Sanchez has done the business this season as a second striker. If he came in to replace Tevez, expect him to continue playing there in the space around Dzeko.

------------------------------Kolarov
---------------De Jong--------------
----------------Yaya ----------------

---Johnson-------Silva--------------

-------------Dzeko------------------

This speculation keeps growing everyday.

Inter Milan hope to snap up Tevez - leaving Man City open to sign Udinese star Sanchez | talkSPORT

Carlos Tevez could be part of a transfer merry-go-round if Inter Milan get their way and sign the Manchester City star.

Tevez, who is out of action for the next few weeks with a hamstring strain, is wanted by Inter, who would be prepared to pull out of the bidding for Udinese's Alexiz Sanchez if they sign the Argentine.

Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport reports that if City accept Inter's offer of £25m for Tevez, they will bow out of the race to sign Sanchez and pave the way for City to make a move for Sanchez.

Roberto Mancini has reportedly long been an admirer of the 22-year-old and with Inter stepping down their bid to sign him in a 'gentlemen's agreement', City would be firm favourites to acquire Sanchez's signature.

Tevez's possible arrival at the San Siro could also see his international team mate Diego Milito leave Italy, with Real Madrid keen on the striker.
