To be fair to Sanchez - it didn't seem like he acted like a little b*tch about this like Coutinho has.
Did you not watch the game on Sunday?

He's almost 30.
Should be dead in a few months like Matic.
What have you been watching? He's been a sulk, openly disrespectful to the manager and the club since at least March, and he basically downed tools... He's been so much worse than Coutinho, and his behaviour last season put me off him as a player. If Jose was criticising Shaw last season for supposedly not wanting to play through the pain, Sanchez would have been impaled for some of the shit he pulled last season. To be fair to Sanchez - it didn't seem like he acted like a little b*tch about this like Coutinho has.
It could work with Silva and KDB as centre mids but not a chance it'd work with Gundogan behind them. Gundogan is far from Busquets or Casemiro when it comes to balancing the midfield
No it wouldn't. They'd likely marginalize Aguero so net effect would slim.Really glad about this, Sanchez to Citeh would pretty much have sealed the league.
I imagine he'll give it his all with one eye obviously on Chile and the World Cup. It's probably his last big chance to make a mark on that stage. Depends on how Arsenals season pans out really.Going to be fun keeping an eye on Sanchez. He is a professional and will give his best, but what happens if he signs a pre-contract in January. Does Wenger continue playing him, or does Sanchez take his foot off the pedal to avoid any serious injury.
That is probably the way to 1-up this absurd summer. There is a very realistic possibility that City could sign Messi and Sanchez on FFP mocking frees next summer
We made a massively-inflated, panic bid for Lemar only to learn he’s getting ready for tonight’s World Cup qualifying game w/o enough time to finalize any deal before the deadline. So now we're keeping completely demotivated Sanchez for 9 (probably fruitless) months, and will almost certainly lose him for free next summer after the inevitable January pre-contract with one of our (rapidly growing list of) betters.
If that doesn't sum up how 'well-run' this club is, I don't know what does. But oh yeah, we won an FA cup last year and Spurs didn't, so we've clearly got superior management...

Being offered £55m for a player in the last year of his contract is still a very good offer.
I think it's dumb as hell to turn it down. He's not going to play his best stuff (he doesn't need to unlike Coutinho).
Arsenal aren't going to win the league with or without him (don't see why a replacement is so critical) - they might as well get a good deal from somebody.
What? More like offer Lingard and demand £50m. Its a buyers market nowWoody needs to offer Lingard and 50m. Now!

Ask Arsenal how much they want for him, within reason.
Would people consider throwing lingard plus smalling? Plus cash?

Bluemoon is pathetic but tbf do you remember what it was like in here the day Griezemann decided to stay at Atletico? Dark timesBluemoon is seething. Calling Arsenal pathetic, childish, all the names you can imagine just because they wouldnt sell them Sanchez. Grown men and women they are, mind you.
Sad. feckers

People were pissed at Griezmann, not Atletico. Big difference... Not that I condoned the angry mob mentality, but I had some sympathy towards it.Bluemoon is pathetic but tbf do you remember what it was like in here the day Griezemann decided to stay at Atletico? Dark times

You werent going to get into the top 4 even with him.We might not win the league but we probably won't get top4 without him, where as we may with him
No it isn't. 55m is fullback money today, it buys you half of a top a player, maybe a 1/3.
If Alexis doesn't play his best stuff will he get as a big a contract?
We might not win the league but we probably won't get top4 without him, where as we may with him
Fair enough but I think Arsenal are clearly outsiders for the top 4 anyway. I mean United (bias included) look decent after the first few games and most would predict they'll dislodge one of last years top four. Who are Arsenal going to take over even with Sanchez?
Guess I'm just of the mind that Arsene has fecked the season up already and you might as well take the money and plan for bringing in replacements in January or next summer because it's not going to matter much this season.
Over the last 15 months United and City have spent 700 millions on new players..
Bailly would not start over Varane and Ramos, let's not be silly.Bit weird to include United in that when City have spent 411 millon of that. Big fecking difference in spending.
And United... well, De Gea, Bailly and Bailly would defo get in Madrid's team.
