Let's all laugh at how bitter Graeme Souness is.

Did he have so much to say over van Dijk, when they were actually reported for tapping up, and even admitted it themselves? A club who wouldn't even admit the Suarez situation.

Really hope they don't get Smalling. Wenger has always been a big fan and he directly strengthens them in a spot they're weak in whilst Miki is an inferior replacement.
Yeah, would rather lose Mkhi but I've never rated Mike that highly either, think we could improve on him, even bring Tuanzebe and/or Fosu Mensah more into the squad

Sourness became a legend at Liverpool winning winning 3 European Cups with them. He then soiled his legacy by sinking the club from the elite with his abortion of a managerial reign. Loads of Scouse can’t stand him now. No wonder he is bitter.

The prick praised them for getting a top defender. It’s a disgrace that they can get away with comments like that. Someone start a complaint petition!

All he's been doing is praising Liverpool for buying van Dijk. He even called him the best defender to play at Liverpool since Alan Hansen.

Well, Souness is sort of right. We almost certainly did tap up Sanchez. That's how transfers work. Every team does it, usually without having to publicly apologise later like prats.

 Souness talking about tapping someone up when the player has already entered the last 6 fecking months of his contract...honestly the quality of punditry is absolute garbage

Andy Gray speaking sense. George Boateng sounds like an idiot and says it like if there's a gap now, then there's no chance of that changing in the next 5 years. Because things don't change from season to season in football

I love Andy Gray but where is this information that we can outspend City coming from? He said "What he is going to earn by joining United is going to dwarf what he was going to get at City."

Ffs they’re turning on Sammy Lee now cause he said Sanchez to City is dead. He’s been nothing short of exceptional for them for City news.

Saying he’s smiling deep down cause he’s a United fan.

Good on Andy Gray for going against the narrative that Mourinho is the big evil in football and Pep is the saviour. Those others fawning over City and Guardiola and vilifying Mourinho are an utter embarrassment to their line of work. When Mourinho was so successful back in 2005-ish they were all well up his ass and fawning over him instead. It just shows that they don't look beyond who's doing well. If you're successful, the journalists are going to love you and once you stop being successful they'll just rewrite history to make you look the bad guy. I've got zero respect for the likes of them.

We have him tomorrow.
I'm starting to think so too.
Apparently we have a good shot at landing Sanchez, however, I'm not sure how I feel about the whole 3 targets for the summer, one of them signed in January. Don't get me wrong, I believe Sanchez is a very good signing, yet at the end of his playing career, this one contract might be his last. If that means we're going to miss out on Dybala, I'm sure not pleased.
Dybala would be the same of Pogba's level signing, another statement, another step in the right direction, one for the future.
How do you guys see it?
I think most would prefer Dybala over Sanchez, but United cannot avoid signing a player like Sanchez when he's both cheap and available. Mourinho didn't specifically say that we won't sign another attacker in the summer if we sign one now. And I'm not sure if Dybala is realistic anyway. What's there to suggest that he wants to go to Man Utd? And he'd cost more than Coutinho surely?

Cutting edge punditry there, Graeme. A lot of someones in that sentence. Quite a basic misunderstanding of the way transfer windows function. For a top pundit, I mean.

I seriously can't stand this prick, it boils my blood every time I see him in the studio before a game of ours. Such a pathetic bitter old man.

Used to detest Carragher and his ugly scouse face, but he's shown to be a professional pundit and as non-biased as possible which is a rare thing to say when it comes to these commentators and studio analysts. Souness, on the other hand, is probably the most biased of them all.

How have we tapped him up? City have had no agreement with Arsenal and Sanchez never had a written agreement with City. He's on the market, City dithered over him and we snapped him up.

I think a lot of you are reading way to much into what Souness said, if he was criticising anyone it was City at how they've managed to have the deal hijacked

I love Andy Gray but where is this information that we can outspend City coming from? He said "What he is going to earn by joining United is going to dwarf what he was going to get at City."
Every news outlet so far has stated we are paying more for him and are paying him better wages.

That sounds like the City lot alright.

It's what we're willing to pay him according to everything.

The guy is in the last 6 months of his contract. Do you really know how transfers work?

No we didn’t.

Van Dijk was tapped up as he had meetings with Klopp before any fee was agreed.

How is approaching the agent for Sanchez and telling him what we can offer is tapping up? All we done is speak to his agent which we free to do. Not like Mourinho has gone into a restaurant with Sanchez.

If Souness was any more sour he'd turn into the fecking lemon he looks like. Prick.

That only applies to foreign clubs.
Well the rule here is when the player enters the last six months of his contract another club can negotiate with the player to sign at the end of the season. What we've done is nothing illegal, Sanchez is clearly on the market this month as Arsenal do not want to lose him on a free.

I posted this back in the summer but for those who might be new here...

Di Marzio PAYS his contacts for real news. It's why he gets the best news first.

Our UK media work off rumours and hearsay. Or they simply make it up.

Apparently Di Marzio has spent a fortune on paying agents and club officials for breaking news stories.
Really? How can he affort that?

Let's all laugh at how bitter Graeme Souness is.

 Oh god. That's bad!
Should be sacked for that remark!

Pundits are supposed be remain impartial and not only is he not being but he's accusing united of illegal practices without concrete evidence.
This

Truth be told,Souness is enraged that Utd have strengthened significantly with Sanchez which just makes it that bit harder for the club he loves (Liverpool) in the grand scheme of things! You could call it Jealousy/bitterness but truth is he his spooked!

We tapped up Sanchez. City tapped up Sanchez. If nobody tapped up Sanchez, he'd probably have signed a new contract. Souness is such a bitter moron.

Liverpool tapped up Keita, Liverpool tapped up van Dijk, Liverpool tapped up Salah. In fact they even set up a fecking booth in Southampton's training ground so that Saints players can go and check what salaries they'd be earning if they swapped to Merseyside.

It's called the transfer market. Deal with it.

City have let leak that they won't meet Arsenal's transfer fee or his wage demands.
