I think he would excel under a different manager, like Guardiola or Sarri or Klopp. It is mourinhos tactics that impede him especially away from home, where it is all about winning 1-0.
He appears to have lost half a yard and looks a shadow of his former self - hard to believe he will get back to the player he was.
What are you drama queens on about? That wasn't even near his worst game for us. In fact, I thought he was ok.
I've been a massive critic of his since signing but what was he supposed to do with a tired attack that pressed all game and when we were losing 3-0? Sweet feck all.
He might not be the same player he was at Arsenal but this talk that he's lost a yard of pace is complete Bollox. He's 29 ffs, not 33/34.
In your opinion, which set up could get the best of Sanchez?Still think he's class. Would perform in a different set up.
The fact he never really takes the fullback on is baffling: he used to be one of the best dribblers in the league. Seems like the only thing in his arsenal these days is that appalling chipped pass through the middle.

Exactly this. Go back to basics and what he did at the start of his career.Stick him out on the right and hope. He might still be shit but it's unlikely he can be as bad as Mata and he won't be in Rashford's or Martial's way.
He’s the business case a DOF was based on. No need signing at a time we didn't need him who upset the balance of a winning team at the time we least needed it which resulted in pissing off a future (younger) prospect in the process.
I really wouldn't mind selling him. We need players on the up. Maybe he'll get it right in time, but it just seems like such a pointless addition given he's lost his burst of pace.He appears to have lost half a yard and looks a shadow of his former self - hard to believe he will get back to the player he was.
In any of the other top 6 clubs. In your opinion, which set up could get the best of Sanchez?

Mourinho wanted Rooney once. Remember?Jose got rid of Rooney.
Then proceeded to bring in another version.
Incredible.

Don't agree, Mourinho wanted a world class player thinking that would fix all his problems and pushed for his transfer I think. Another reason why Woodward and the board don't trust Mourinho's transfer targets anymore.I have no doubt this was only done to prevent City from getting him as if it would have somehow hindered them. We didn't need him and we didn't have to give him those ridiculous wages.

We literally only signed him to piss off City. The exact sort of small-time gesture we used to make fun of them for doing.
I know. We've made a mess of this whole situation. Should have focused on players on the rise.Good luck on him agreeing to a move.
He's not giving up 350k pounds a week without a fight.
