knowing that the world will be watching will be a good test of his mental strength. If he has a solid commanding game, then LVG eyebrows will be raised (slightly more than usual)
He played against the likes of Neymar at the end of last year and was really impressive.
If it's between Dragovic and Schar, i would prefer Schar every single time. Schar is simply the better player.
Does Dragovic have a similar style to Rojo? If yes, shouldn't we be looking for someone with different attributes. Is Schar more like that? I haven't a clue about either.
I actually like the idea of him coming in. Can anyone comment on how good he is in the air? Height is pretty much the main tactic against us with lesser teams and it would be great to know if he is good. Squakwa data is limited on him, which skews the stats a bit.

From the video a couple of pages ago, he seems absolutely fine aerially.
So what is the point as they might then get better in the Summer, unless of course there are more CB's going than we thought.
Averaged 1.2 aerials won over 5 europa league matches this season with his partner always making more. Very few for a CB, same amount as Evans and but than McNair.
Blackett 1.4, Jones 2.3, Rojo 2.6 and Smalling 2.8
I'd imagine his role dictated his partner challenging for more for the ball, but I'll try and have a watch in the friendly. May tell us a bit more.

There's still time for a deadline signing or two, but unless its a total surprise it doesn't look like we're going to make one does it? All the rumors linking us to players have been 100% rubbish.

Yeah it seems unlikely. I don't think Woody or LVG would have left it this late. This window seems a bit slow even for other teams that need to strengthen, although deadline day might get crazy.

We could easily see two of Smalling, Jones and Evans getting sold. Also, McNair and Blackett will likely feature less as they've probably been over-promoted by circumstance this year.
In which case signing more than one CB before September is quite possible.

There are already theoretical formations with Dragovic? I don't think we'll sign him, the target is Hummels or someone of that level.
The rumours around this guy remind me of the Spanish press saying we'd signed Miranda during the summer. Normally pretty reliable Spanish press too. Just can't see it coming to anything.
