He's an upgrade on all our current CM options but that says more about how bad they are than how good Rabiot is. Very underwhelming if he's the only CM we bring in over the next two weeks.
Yup, he's going to be a good signing. He looked much better going forward in a possession based PSG team and has always been defensively great, he'll make us more solid and more press resistant.

Could we see a midfield three of FDJ, Rabiot and Eriksen? With Rabiot and Eriksen taking it in turns on who’s going forward and who’s sitting back? It seems like it would be a tricky midfield to keep track of for opponents, especially the ones who sit back.

is the thing about him being suspended true? like if we signed him before Juves first game he'd be suspended for the first game for us?
The thing is we're 'supposedly' chasing many names and many signings and nothing gets concluded and soon it's gonna be time up folks!

Think Eriksen might be a bit lightweight to sit back whereas Rabiot would suit it more

I think it’s likely. I think that would be a good midfield. 3 proper midfielders. I also think it would mean Bruno becoming part of the front players rotation, maybe with him on the right, Sancho left, Rashford up front. Depending on Martial fitness.
Really happy we get a midfielder in. It's just one player, but I reckon it will improve our midfield considerably.
Wonder if there is any truth behind the rumour as to why we haven't announced Rabiot yet? Supposedly due to him having a one match suspension. If he was signed prior to tonight, then his one game ban would follow him to England and rule him out of the Liverpool game.

Think it would have moved at more of a pace already today IF he wasn’t suspended
Suspensions carry over with transfers. We need him to finish his suspension in Italy so that he can play as quickly as possible. Maybe. Either that or we forgot to bring a translator.
Typical he would be suspended for biggest home game of the season, mind you so is their star signing too now
