It was a unique youth development program. I suppose you could say it had mixed success.
He's the same age as me ffs but hes doing it big.
Excellent display by the lad highlighted by two brilliantly taken goals. I'm delighted that he's getting opportunities to impress in league matches. I sure hope the club properly sorts out the contract situation soon though, it would be a shame if we were to lose another bright prospect. I'm looking forward to seeing more of him in the first team, he's become the one truly genuine creative spark that stands out from what has been a disappointingly uninspiring team so far this season.

Last couple of months it has looked like he has been specifically told to take more shots and to get into those positions specially at reserve games and it's definitely paying off.

While being in danger of stating the obvious here... With every game and performance like that, it becomes easier to tie him down to a contract as we can justify a much better contract for him when the other young reserves question why he is getting more than them.
