Small part of luck, law of averages etc. Another reason is its cultural diversity which results in a good mix of different styles. Its location lends itself well to players getting a mix of football educations in different leagues like Germany, England, France. Theres also a thought that where you have a standout bunch of players coming through the ranks it brings others along to a level they wouldn't otherwise reach.

It's not luck. They overhauled their coaching set up and it's paying off big time.

Its usually a small part of luck when a group produces so many stars at the same time. Similar to Uniteds setup producing Giggs, Beckham, Scholes, Nevilles etc all at the same time.

You could say that if they stopped producing them but I see no signs that it's a one off. There are more and more coming through which shows that the coaching set up improvements have worked.

I swear to feck if we do not sign this lad up to a contract I mean it I will do Ed Woodward harm

Me too I'll be like this..

If he leaves and becomes a major superstar for city/juve, I hope he celebrates the CL final winning goal against us with the above post under his shirt.

United won't let him leave because of a few thousand quid. I just think it's a stupid notion to out of the blue offer him 30-40k. Where do people pull these figures from? Their asses can't be that deep can they?

He's only 18, we shouldn't give him money. We'll set a precedent and then every reserve player will want a raise. Let him go to Juventus, no one's bigger than the club.
Don't be ridiculous.
feck that. Pay him the money
feck this shit, give him a truck full of money and Moyes' daughter.
What? If we have any other reserve players who can spank in two goals and be MotM on their debut starts, and have the potential to be one of the best in the world, then I hope we give them raises too.

Edit: I'm pretty sure I missed the sarcasm in that quoted post
Enough of this reserve player bullshit. Were you against a young Rooney or Ronaldo getting good wages. There are reserve players and then there are players with special qualities.
feck that right in the bangle. Pay him what we'd have to pay if we were signing a top class youngster from elsewhere. The other reserve team players can go feck themselves if they don't like it. If they want the same kind of deal, then be as good as he is.

fecking idiots

Sorry, just stirring a bit of shit. I remember during the Pogba meltdown quite a few people were actually saying we shouldn't pay him what he wants. I wonder what's their stand on Adnan's case.
I didn't think Pogba was about money. Weren't we supposed to have been offering a similar contract as Juventus? That one had all the signs of an agent looking a cut of a signing on fee.

Looks class, and maybe Moyes has learnt his lesson about not playing Barkley last season.

I'll happily admit I was utterly, utterly wrong about him.

He's taken everything into his stride and by january he'll be in our first choice XI. I predicted about five appearances for him..

He's put my predictions to shame and he's already twice the player I thought he was. Long may it continue!

It's not a very hard decision if he wants an international career.
Nationality is a very personal and complex issue. Yes, he'd a better career for Belgium, assuming that's what he wants.

Don't think there is a decision for him, seems clear he wants to play for Belgium despites attempts by the Albania FA.

No offense, but how the feck do you know? He's never played for Belgium at any level so how is it clear he wants to play for Belgium?

This is the situation:
In June 2013, Marc Van Geersom, former coach of the Belgium U-18 and U-19, has declared that Januzaj has several times refused a call up of Belgium, since he prefers to play forAlbania.[7][8]
Albania's coach, Gianni De Biasi declared on 12 August 2013 that Januzaj is a great talent, and that he and the Albanian federation are waiting for the right moment to talk to him and to call him up for the Albanian national side.[9]
The Football Federation of Kosovo have said that they respect Januzaj’s right to decide his international future and that it is not fair to expect a player to represent a nation that cannot play competitive football.[10]
Belgian coach Marc Wilmots has plans to speak to Adnan about his international future. "I will soon do it and it is up to him to decide. Januzaj has never played for the Rode Duivels. Not even for the youth teams. He has always refused."

I read somewhere that his father wants him to choose Albania over Belgium. Don't know if it's true or not.

Also looks like I was wrong with my 15-20 appearance prediction. Hopefully he plays even more! 25-30 appearances would be nice if he carries on with his form.

If he doesn't sign a new one with us by then, yes they will. I don't know why he'd want to go anywhere else; he'll walk into our team now and could develop into the most important player. There's far more competition at the likes of Barca, Madrid, City and you lot. I see Serie A as a step-down at this point.
