He's strong as feck. Anybody that posts the words "bulk up" at any point in the future need vacating down a super massive black hole.

POINT AND LAUGH

A bit over the top alright but its not a hilarious claim.

Only Ronaldo,Rooney,Giggs.Whiteside are rival to that claim from what I have seen.

Best,Edwards,Charlton are obviously going to be in that bracket if you were around to see it.

How many other teenagers have looked so good for us at this age?

He'll be scary good once hes got a bit of experience and bulked up a little.

At 18, the influence he has on games is amazing.

Looks promising again. But I'm not going overboard. As you would expect for a youngster with a lot of quality and potential he is hit and miss at times and he was today.

Some lovely moments though

He faded in the second half, was the right time to take him off.

He was virtually redundant in the second half due to a great deal of our attacks came from the right hand side. Moyes must have identified a weakness with the Villa left back and concentrated his strengths on that. The way Valencia and Rafa went passed the left back was a bit like Lennon skinning Evra every single time recently.

You can feel his appreciation to manager and club in general for giving him chance. Not the first time he's the engine of this team.

Right now looking more confident than Young and Zaha and even Nani at some point which only adds more cherries to the mix.

Movement is superb for his age. Execution will improve over time, you can see the ideas are all there.

Thought he was somewhat poor in his choices today.

Still shows the class he's got at times. Wonderful balance and confidence.

Great to see him attack the crosses from which our first two goals arrived. Unlucky with the header hitting the post. His general play was a bit careless, a few poor passes, sometimes holds on to the ball too long and ends up getting dispossessed.

Made a few mistakes today, but more often than not he makes up for them very quickly with a little bit of class. Due to his age and lack of experience, there's obviously going to be games and moments where things don't quite work out for him, so I'm not too fussed that he had a bit of a quiet game.

Is he the most fouled player in the league?

It feels to me like referees aren't giving us enough free kicks when he is challenged and clearly fouled. He needs someone to kick him, or two players going in, for a referee to award us a free kick.

Edit - Only Hazard and Barkley have been fouled more in the league.

Also, I like how Jamie Carragher very nearly managed to turn his name into John O'Shea after the match.

It's awesome when he glides the length of the field. It's a rare ability, particularly when you consider that he isn't an athletic brute in the mould of Bale or Toure. He manages it all the same, however.

At one point there were 4 Villa players trying to get the ball off him.

Mixed bag from the lad today IMO. As others have said, he sometimes takes too much time on the ball and loses it in dangerous areas. Then at other times, he shows why he's going to be a truly outstanding player. If he wasn't so talented, his current minor flaws would go unnoticed. It really goes to show how high he's set the bar for himself already.

He really shouldn't be playing every game but I don't think Moyes has much of a choice. Hopefully Kagawa and Nani can get back to some kind of form allowing us to rest Januzaj

It's certainly better being a playing who can run with the ball under complete control, rather than a quicker player that doesn't have it under control half the time, i.e. Walcott.

Thought he was the quietest of our front 4 today...

Most of our attacking play came from the right, with Valencia and Rafa to be fair.

Still, he made himself a lot more available than Kagawa does when shunted out left.
