He's a special talent, will be one of the best of his generation. Controversial opinion time. I think the recent produce from our academy is better than the class of 92. Morrison, pogba, daehli, and januzaj is the sort of crop that comes once in a very long time for any club. Sad that we lost all but one of them.

The thing is all those players you list, with the exception of Morrison, only joined the club at 15/16. While they are considered academy graduates they spent most of their formative years in other academy's. The opposite was the case with the class of 92. I think Beckham was the oldest when he joined the club at 14. The fact that they are all English makes it that bit more impressive too.

Great to see that spring in his step again. Still have to be patient, it will take time for him to develop.

I'd have to admit that I was starting to move towards thinking that perhaps we'd got a smidge over-excited about Januzaj, and it was time to be realisitic and acknowledge that it was going to take a few years and a touch of luck to make a top quality player of him.

But today he reminded me of just what he's got in his locker. There's a genuine chance of this guy being proper world class, and reasonably quickly too.

People have said he has been off the boil. He had ONE average game and was still our most threatening player! feck this 'protecting' him bullshit. He should start every game from now on. Time to move forward.

I love how every time he gets the ball there's a collective shitting of pants where the opposition just desperately try and hack him to the ground. Must be horrible to play against.

When Fellaini made that pass, for a moment I thought he was going to get Adnan injured. It was a little short with the defender going in.

Somehow, that kid got out of it to set up a goal with a great cross. You just got to love that kid.
im glad he didn't get injured., it would be tough to see 10,000 identical moyes haters blame moyes for signing fellaini knowing that it would get januzaj injured

The press are determined to take all the fun out of being 19 aren't they

Nice to see him come off the bench and make an impact. Lovely assist too. Villa seemed determined to hack him down at every opportunity, which was irritating.
Still one of few bright spots this season. My one criticism is probably when he's been pinned wide to the touchline at times but overall it's been a very good season for him.

I think Januzaj is one thing Moyes has handled well tbh. I wouldn't start him in most of our games, he always looks much better coming off the bench.

He hasn't physically developed to the level he can start every game.

Taking him out for a few was absolutely the correct decision. It was catching up with him. Glen Johnson made him look like a conference player purely because he could brush him off the ball so easily. No shame on Adnan though, he's punched well above his weight for months.

Sign the boy Lucas Moura and we'd have 3 potential sensational wingers along with Zaha. Much better possibilities than Nani Valencia and Young.

Zaha does not even begin to enter that sort of discussion with the other two. He'll be lucky to ever play a competitive game for us again. Nani isn't that bad and I'd be surprised if Zaha turned out better than him.

Yeah, zaha has looked a bit shit technically for a winger and really lacking in confidence. Not sure if he'll ever really make it here, but deserves a fair chance. £15m was way too much though.

We really could have a Hazard-level player on our hands before long. feck knows we really need one.

god, how sexy was that assist for Hernandez's goal

Also I swear he runs off the side of the pitch more than any player I've ever seen, he's always at it.

Definitely. During the winter period, Januzaj looked really lightweight on the ball. He was always easily brushed off. Other than this, he didn't have much of an impact as he did before that time. He didn't have much end product in that time, and he had trouble dribbling past players, too.

It's good to see him get this rest. His body's still developing, and to strain it this much can hinder his progress and prevent him from becoming the world class player many are expecting him to become.

I know in some big games this season he has gone missing but I think he could give us a spark. Whether it's from the start or bench, he needs to be involved in my opinion, we have nothing to lose.

What? Januzaj, alongside Welbeck, was our best player throughout the winter. He had one or two quiet games in March which people have wildly overstated.

It's a risk starting him tonight but I think he's the boy for the big stage. He's definitely got the talent and doesn't seem fazed by anything so why not start him? We need to attack and he's our best attacking outlet minus Rooney.

I'm talking about Winter 2014, not Winter 2013. Yes, in 2013, Januzaj was a revelation and did very well, particularly in December alongside Welbeck. I'm talking about since the turn of the year, when he went somewhat off the boil and wasn't able to do as much as he did before.
