Maybe being in and out is affecting his consistency/momentum? It's hard to judge when so many aren't playing well.
it's that damned autocorrect. Welbeck isn't an english word it seems! What in the feck is a Blackwell?
Name starts with wel and he is black. Close enough.it's that damned autocorrect. Welbeck isn't an english word it seems!
"Hes better than Ronaldo was at his age."
"Hes the best 18 year old player i have ever seen."
"Hes key to United's future."

Unsurprising when you trawl back to the hype Cleverly and Welbeck were getting when they were starting to get some first team football... never take opinions of football supporters seriously when there's a young player coming through their own ranks.
yep. strange behavior, as if the word "young" doesnt mean anythingLiverpool beat us at home in Ronaldo's first season courtesy of a Danny Murphy penalty and from what I remember Ronaldo was equally anonymous bar a couple of decent runs, but that was 10 years ago so we can pretend it never happened while we slag off the new 19 year old prodigy. That seems to be the "in" thing at the moment - writing off young players absurdly quickly. It happened with Sterling just last year after the initial hype but this season he's started turning that potential into regular quality performances. Deulofeu was rubbish yesterday, goal aside. It happens.

What exactly is cannon fodder nowadays? We struggle to beat any team. The kids done enough to suggest he is going to be a very good player in the next couple if seasons. But right now he should be coming off the bench when we have the game won or starting against cannon fodder at OT not starting against Liverpool.
Can't believe people are having a go at him or writing him off.
He's an incredible talent and inconsistency at this stage of his career is to be expected.
Looks jaded of late and having little impact on games. I think Kagawa should take his place for the next couple of fixtures.
Posted this in this thread last week:
I can't believe Moyes put him in from the start against Liverpool. Bring him on when the game opens up by all means, but his form of late told you everything you needed to know about how he'd fare in that game yesterday.
If Moyes doesn't give Kagawa the nod on Wednesday, I'll be stunned.
You're still stunned if Kagawa doesn't get the nod?
However he will do. The only time you looked remotely passable vs Olympiakos was when he came on.

Moyes doesn't know the strengths of the players it's embarrassing.
Cleverley and Kagawa would work together, with Carrick holding, as Cleverley and Kagawa like the short passing game, you could have 3 up top with those 3, could have Welbeck RVP and Rooney, however Moyes doesn't seem to think "oh which players will have good chemistry", instead he thinks "What are the biggest names I can put on a team sheet".
But arent most on here guilty of the same?
Read the RVP says he wants to stay thread. Its full of how relieved everyone is and how its the best news this year ( even though you signed Mata in Jan) despite the fact he is playing awful and should be dropped. Going on big names on paper, same with Rooney. Most go by names because when things are hard you go with what you know.
