Adidas To Launch United Originals.

Some of the training tops/jackets are class. Not the CL ones though, the colours are too weird. Hoping to find some replicas of them as I ain't paying for the real ones. Don't think anything quite matches an N98 though.

Any good?

They look great, I'm going to order the red home shirt. I was sceptical about Adidas, I was never a fan of their shirts but they have blown me away this year, the gear is 10 times better than what Nike were churning out.

Ffs, adidas gonna put me in economical ruin if they keep up with releases like this and this year's kit launch.

Had a look at the stuff in person at the adidas shop in Manchester. The 85 shirt is really good with the exception of the missing Sharp logo. Far better than the score draw repros.

The track tops are good, but the 1980 shirt is a big disappointment. The crest is a cheap stitched-on patch with a thick white border.

Hoping they release a faithful 1982 range next - home, away and third.

They're releasing the Madchester blue away shirt at some point as well as the white tracky top.

I do like that Gary Bailey top though.

Is this confirmed? I wasn't sure whether it was a limited edition focusing on the 1985 stuff.

The blue away will be incredibly popular - but its a shame if they won't have the sharp logo on it.

72euro for that green goalies shirt, , I wont even be able to afford prawns for my half time sandwiches & chablis!

Should have been totally black with red, white and black stripes similar to our kit collar.

The 68 final was at Wembley as well and was our away kit. Not sure the relevance of Stretford. The name itself with the right colours could have been a real winner.

Keane as Klaus, Giggs as Elijah and Mandy as Rebecca :p

I like them, but deary me I know it makes sense it's the blue and its history with us, but they should have known it will cause some discomfort

1200 pairs with worldwide distribution....jesus. Shoes are totally where the money is at right now, these will be going for insane amounts seconds after sales they go up....which is exactly when they'll be sold out.

As snip at £500 a pair if the rest of the collection is anything to go by.

Was our third kit. Our normal away kit then was all-white with red collar and cuffs. Sometimes we wore white shirts, white shorts, and red socks.

Probably just realised he paid €72 for a goalkeepers jersey.

He probably got told he couldn't keep the kit he was modelling. My sister's friend got a gig once modelling clothes and was told in no uncertain terms that she couldn't keep a stitch, not even a pair of tights.

So dumb making the stripes blue on them trainers. They're tidy but I wouldn't pay what they're asking for them.

I understand the link with the blue but I don't look at them and think of any United link. Looks more like City.

If it's meant to represent the '68 kit why is it a completely wrong shade of blue?

Huge fail from adidas that one.

The reaction alone to these trainers proves what a massive mistake Adidas has made, okay we won the European cup in 68 wearing blue, it's not the colour you associate with United though.
