RJ is seriously good RB. Reminds me of Cafu.
Crystal Palace wouldn’t take him back
Absolutely would, I’d love him back. Only a complete idiot would play him at wing-back though. Has Ole improved anyone?
He's equally shite as a full-back, to be fair.
I’ve said he’ll end up back at a Palace type in a few seasons & I reckon he’ll again appear a standout player but his lack of football ability is startling in a better side. He's a good fullback for a defensive team with structure and with no ambitions (like Hodgon's Palace). Our weirdest singing IMO because it doesn't make sense for a big club. I said it then and I say it now: He's not a Man United type of player and hopefully Ethan Laird will come in next season.
Ole just doesn’t know what he’s doing or what sort style of play he wants. The buying of players is so scattergun, and that’s because he has only a vague idea of what the team should play like. As long as they’re good players, that’s enough, with no coherence to the overall structure and therefore how they will fit together. There IS no overall, underpinning structure.Probably Ole worst signing. Not because player is bad but just doesn’t fit our style. Its amazing how Ole signings are exactly opposite to the style he keeps preaching in media that he wants to play.
I'm just not sure he's got it in his locker to improve the way he uses the ball enough. I feel like his technical ceiling isn't much higher than what we're seeing now. He could be coached to be smarter out of possession, tactically and positionally, but I don't think the way he manipulates and uses the ball will improve much from here, if at all. It's been clear what he needs has been a coach that can improve his game which he doesn't have at United, same goes for Mason to reach his top level he'll need better coaching
Here, I've found these expectations on the floor and I think they belong to you.I think some people expect too much out of fullbacks offensively. TAA is the exception, the others that excel are playing in better systems.

AWB hasn't put in a single useable cross this entire season and he plays nearly every game.
Great arguments. Eloquent stuff.

You got me.

This. I highly doubt he applies himself in training for a coach to be able to significantly improve him.Sorry but all this "lack of coaching" and him being poor in attack massively let's him off the hook and absolutely does not excuse how feckin lazy he is.
He just half arses his way through games, jogging everywhere, not closing down, playing hospital passes, bottling 50/50s... His attitude absolutely stinks, above everything else.

Just once I would like to see him make a lung bursting run back to defend when he gets caught ahead of the ball.Sorry but all this "lack of coaching" and him being poor in attack massively let's him off the hook and absolutely does not excuse how feckin lazy he is.

Not having the ability is excusable. Not giving it your all ever game is not.
Yep. Forget his diabolical positioning and awkward touch, he just doesn't appear arsed. For a young player still attempting to establish themselves in the top flight that's rather damning. There's such a lack of fire and passion in his game - it makes me pine for the days of Rafael. A dud purchase, in my opinion. No chance he survives if someone like Ten Hag comes in, surely.Sorry but all this "lack of coaching" and him being poor in attack massively let's him off the hook and absolutely does not excuse how feckin lazy he is.
