Have absolutely no doubts he'll be a huge hit here assuming he avoids serious injury problems. He dribbles pretty well actually, maybe his delivery needs work.

Needs help going forward, he was isolated on the right wing a few times with no one making a run or coming to his side showing himself for a pass in the middle. Our right attacking side gets neglected by our players for some reason. We are far too central and left heavy, our RBs have a hard time and have to go into dribblings/crossings far too often for my liking instead of some passing and 1-2s.

I don't think he got isolated; he isolated himself. Think that was more or less his only poor side yesterday, together with maybe one or two mistakes with his marking. Apart from that he was great. Very refreshing new player that already in his first match contributed a lot.

It's like Ashley Cole being England s best left back for ages.

This guy, not wanting to out too much pressure on him, can reach dizzy heights.

As good as he is, he looks like he can still develop even further. He might end up being a bargain at £50m.

For me £50m in todays market was always a great deal. COuldnt believe there were some saying he is rubbish past the half way line, liability with the ball there are much better right backs like Meunier etc etc.

I am not one to go from stats, even though his were great last season. Even though he was at Palace, he already looked one of the best full backs in Europe after just 18 months playing the position. He can definately improve on several aspects of his game, he is just 21 and remember stated as a winger so still has to adapt to right back to a degree. His defensive ability one on one especially is has been amazing since he broke though. Best signing we have made for years and unlike some talented young playes we have signed or bought through the last couple of years, this player has genuine world class ability

Other than the feck up where Emerson hit the crossbar he was faultless.

Just waiting for England to mess up his career.

I want to see Daniel and him on the rightwing. Would be solid both offensively and defensively.

That's because only creativity we have in MF runs on left via Pogba. Max he can drift to center. Another creative MF can bring that balance on the other side of the pitch. Until then AWB is on his own. He is pretty good though. May be bit wasted in absence of MF support towards right.

One more creative MF and we had pretty good chance of winning PL this season. Anyways, something to look forward to for next season.

Pogba has been playing on the right side of midfield though, it's just that Lingard and Pereira are not players you'd expect to dominate a flank. I hope James replaces Pereira soon.

In retrospect now he's here he's such an obvious replacement for Valencia that I can't think why I didn't see it before. His stamina and pace are terrific and the defensive numbers he puts up are second to none. Since we don't play a right winger whoever plays right back for us essentially has responsibility for the whole right flank, defending and carrying the ball forward. That's a pretty demanding role on an athletic level.

Wolves 1:1 Man Utd
Think this is basically what you'll get out of him tbf. Solid as feck defensively, not much going forward (but not awful). Basically inverse of Alexander Arnold.

Quality, and in control attacking or defending. Unless he's shooting, so far.

Great game defensively as usual, he's a very solid rock at the back but the entire match he has been pretty bad going forward imo. Need to improve his attacking output tbh.

Excellent again, he is almost impossible to get past. I hope his gangly style doesn't result in injury problems.

He was always available and pushed forward when he could. Picked out Lingard well (who made a hash of it as usual) and almost played him in again again with a nice pass.

Arguably our best player tonight. Should not have ducked for Wolves goal though.

Superb defensively. Literally won every challenge and no one was even dreaming of getting past him.
Excellent addition.

Played very well. So solid in defence and had right intentions going forward. Will be amazing once he is partnered by a world class right side wingman

Good player. Undeserved yellow card and could have gotten an assist if Lingard shoots with his foot instead of his knee.

He was decent but again we had nothing down the right.

Fantastic defensively but need to show more self-belief when bring the ball forward, instead of stopping to pass it he should keep going forward with it if nobody is willing to try and take it from him.

Hmmm don’t think he was that great today. He’s actually been beaten quite easily in a few games now but his recovery is so good it negates that. Needs better positioning and better use of the ball but there is no doubt more experience and he’s going to be some player.

When I say not great, he was actually pretty good just don’t think he was as good as some are making out.

Don't understand what people are watching to think he was poor or 'not that good today' he is rapidly becoming my favourite United player. I feel so confident when we are defending down the right, infact he has highlighted Shaw as being defensively poor which is something I wasn't saying at all before Wan Bissaka arrived!

He could be better on the attack which he will with more experience, but I want my full back to defend first and foremost and he is brilliant at that. Even when he makes a mistake with his positioning or his initial tackle, he manages to get enough on the ball or slow the attacker down enough to negate the threat. Fantastic signing.

More or less faultless at the back. Played two fantastic passes, where we should have done a lot better with our end product.

The name of this thread is what he wasnt on that Neves shot. He jumped but made himself smaller than he is, which is surely the exact opposite of why you jump to try and block a shot. You want to make yourself big so its hard for the ball to get past you.

Still despite a couple of things like that, he made 9 tackles, 1 interception and 1 clearance. So despite not doing very well with his "wall" or closing down of Neves, he was still our biggest ball winner and most honest/hard working defender.
