Why don't you try a proper 4-3-3? I always thought Savicevic was at his best on the right, cutting in. I am not sure if Chiesa can play as a left forward, but I would definitely try to accommodate Dejan as a RW/RF.

I always thought he was best as a no. 10. But I am considering using him on the wing. That would push me more towards a 442 though, as I prefer to use both Vialli and Chiesa centrally.
I would try and use both Donadoni and Eranio as wingers, as that's where they were most prolific.
What do you guys think is the strongest?

Yeah, I think you may be correct. Giannini in a midfield two may be a little bit light weight. Even if it was more normal in the 90s to play 1 destroyer and 1 creator in central midfield. E.G. Zidane & Davids, Keane & Scholes.
Zidane and Davids did have Deschamps though.

It says so in the rules and it's pretty standard for these drafts. It gives everyone a bit of flexibility in how they want too line up to exploit potential weakness in an opponents team, or too strengthen a potential weakness in your own if an opponent has a special threat you'd like to counter.
