Delighted to get him, the midfielders are running out fast. He was named 15th best player in the world with Juventus in '95, a wonderful midfielder who had a nomadic career in which he played alongside Rui Costa at Benfica, but his peak was undoubtedly at Juventus. Rui Costa later played with Crespo, so there's links running right through the team

Only thing I was worried about him was the amount of time he spent in Serie A. Tad less, but he was brilliant and also won the Guerin D'or.
He really had 1 great season but great pick. Sousa was my next pick.
Gone for this type of approach myself, Brwned. A good spine is half the battle in these type of competitions, always easier to fill in the gaps afterwards. Quality full-backs and wingers slip through the net easier than strikers or central/attacking midfielders.
I have always found it hard to find fullbacks at the end. Specially because I end up with narrow formations and hence the role of a fullback becomes extremely important. So I need fullbacks who are good at the back and provide width. Happy to have them sorted early.

TBH the Nationality draft was amazingly fast. The first 2-3 rounds went in a flash. But yeah, this one has been really slow.
