Oh darn. I thought you would agree to swap.
About full back, it seems like a lot of players in 90's can play either CB, fullback, and even on the wing. And some can even play on both sides. So, there should be plenty left (with variety of classes/levels, though). It's the sign of good footballer to be able to play in different roles (unless your name is John O'Shea).
True, though very few can play at both fullback and centre back and provide the width needed for a 4312. Only the ones who get the decent wingers early on will be able to do anything else, so you're reliant on your fullbacks being wingbacks too. Thuram's one of the very few who can excel in either role.
I'll take aldair. Was a top centre half for brazil n roma, winning the world cup and having the no. 6 shirt retired for him at roma.

I've gone for the fearsome Uruguayan Paolo Montero, who was an integral part of the all-conquering Juve team of the mid-to-late 90s. He could operate at centre-back and left-back, and his versatility could prove important in a competition like this.

Aldair and Vierchowod would have been my first choice CB pairing from day one, and I was hoping both would sneak through round two and I'd nab them with me having two picks in fairly quick succession. I'm happy with Montero though, one of the best around in the '90s.

Aww man, tell me about it. I find the challenge the best part of the draft, though. It wouldn't be half as fun if it was easy. There are still loads of players available I would be happy to have in my side, but you have to take a gamble and see if these players are still available the next time around. I was hoping players like Rui Costa, Aldair and Vierchowod would be available later than they were picked but it wasn't to be.
You also have to assess who everyone else is picking; some posters have very strong midfields already so you can't ignore your own midfield or else you'll be ate alive when the voting comes around. That's why I had to address my midfield with my latest pick, I'd have preferred to gone for another player or two that haven't been picked yet, but will more than likely be gone by the time it's my next turn. It's the exact same for everyone, that's the thing.
Anyone could pick a 1990s Serie A when no restrictions are in place. Half the battle of this draft is to pick your players at the right time because you probably won't get another crack of the whip. It's a really good draft so far by the way, I'm really enjoying the debates and discussions on the picks thus far.

Good pick, nahealai. I was weighing between Iuliano and Conte but I can't miss out the former. It seems like Conte is their Keano, which is why Juventini love him a lot.
Iuliano was superb in that famed Juventus defence of the time. It's amazing the number of top quality centre-halves that plied their trade in Italy during the '90s. Conte is indeed their Keano, not in terms of where they played on the pitch (slightly different roles), but in terms of passion and leadership shown. Look at him in the picture above; I'm not even a Juve supporter and that image inspires me. Talismanic footballers will always have a place in the heart of football fans.
